Tim Hortons is disgusting. It's dishwater. 

 

You're the first Canadian I've met who didn't rave about it. Phew! Tried it on a trip to Montreal a few years back and could not see what people were raving about north of the border. Meh donuts too.

Next time, if there's too many brands ask for a mild medium roast. You really can't go wrong and they'll be able to point something out for you. 

 

Unless you like it really strong, then go for a dark roast.

I saw Tim Horton and I never go to a coffee place anyway . I get my coffee from the Market and get crazy look enough as it is . I like to make my own coffee anyway......

Donuts are good, but it's because we don't have alternatives for proper donuts. Everyone pretends to like the coffee because a large is like $1.25

Brewing it yourself is always better than getting it from some franchise. There's more pleasure from grinding my own beans when I can be bothered to do it.

I grow up with Tea that ya make yourself . Ya buy actually from the market the real Tea Plant and do it at home . Anything that come in a box..is muh . Well some are good..but if ya grow up in something..its hard to change right ? beside...between real plant and a box ? I take the plant .

well..back home we grinded the coffee..cose we still live in stone age . 

 

Here.....I dont have anything to grind it . So I just buy normal branded coffee.....and make it at home....

I usually end up using the k-cups as I am more often as not in a hurry. But I have a grinder and a french press and it makes a better cup. The problem is not being lazy or having the time to use it. There's nothing wrong with grinding it. I personally think it comes out better if you do it that way. But I've also used the pre-ground stuff too.
