I feel that. I mean...writer's live inside their head more often than not and when you begin changing what is already known to fit your perception...ish gets cray. In this instance, I don't see how it would get me to the point of "wth was I thinking?!?". I mean...if I write it, and that's a HUGE if, it may never see the light of the internet or something.

hell I have trouble dealing with the non-constructive criticism of the only fic I have posted online now. some idiot read two chapters of my ish and labeled my character a mary sue. the story is 40+ pages long like...NO. I have no time for that nonsense...I have my own self-doubt to deal with.

Actually they were really good today. Lots of apologies and  acquittals. I always have both threads open.

 

That's today, but it doesn't mean it will be the same tomorrow, or the next. Every second/third day ,I have logged on this week and visited the Solas thread there has been one or more of the following: 

 

1-Overly Explicit content.

2- Sex Doll talk

3- People who don't feel comfortable with explicit material, are immature, unnatural, or are being ridiculas.

 

That thread has become extremely uncomfortable for Aces, straight guys, and people who are not comfortable with certain content.I know of three people who don't visit that thread anymore because of it. After today, I will be the fourth.

 

 

don't go into the cass thread then... more of the "extreme and rude" bsners hang there and they fight all the time(fmr cass thread member)

 

Cass thread has nothing on the Solas thread. Unless they talk about having relations with a wolf?

I despise that term. no offense to you dudes in here cause i cut for ya'll hard but it almost always is typed by some guy on the internet. if a female character is strong and not fall over vunerable, then she is a mary sue to them. if there is no knight in shining armor, they whine. hehe... the cass thread is more personal and bashes everyone non-humi or not of "like minded idealology". But i understand your perspective

I only just started my Seramance as a dwarf but when I asked for a name other than Inky, it was Buckles.

Then Cole opened his mouth and it became Tadwinks.

oh that's gross, I'm not down with bashing people who like the chaste reading of the Solasmance. You'd think that people who are fans of the "it's more complicated than that " character would understand that people have varying and very valid relationships with sexuality, and that the text's ambiguity is a boon, not a punishment. Grossss.

That's quite alright. Tressa's eyes are supposed to be a bit weird. My idea was that the outside of her irises turned green in the Fade as a side effect when she got the glowing mark on her hand.

I found it in Emprise by the frozen lake but it was a random drop. You need to be lucky with a tier three chest, or go farming as Eirene suggested...
