Meh...i don't really care if Sera dislikes an unnecessary companion like Cole whose only in Inquisition thanks to him being a book character.
I think it's maybe a bit extreme to assume Mages just yet, considering we haven't heard anything about her and the other Mage companions.
I don't see calling him "it" is bullying, no one knows what he is. It's more than likely fear/ignorance, which is pretty justifiable if you've read his actions in Asunder. As I've said, I'm a big Cole fan, but I'm not afraid to call a spade a spade. He/it (see w I did there) obviously has major issues. Anyone has good reason to be afraid of.

Oh indeed, we haven't heard anything about other mages yet. I am just pointing out one possible inference from this knowledge. Sera apparently dislikes spirits/demons/walking-corpses on sight, and from there it is a short hop-skip-and-jump to mages. It would be interesting if part of her back story involves a bad mage (or maybe a scared mage running from Templars) summoning spirits that kill... someone. That could lead her to dislike spirits/Cole by default, and could extend to an innate distrust of mages.
It doesn't have to of course, maybe her dislike is limited to spirits. Or maybe her dislike is limited to Cole, hard to say for sure until we get more info, but speculating does open up lots of potential plot points to explore

Apparently, it's unreasonable not to trust a spirit / demon that nobody knows what it is, except that * it * knows how to kill people very well and looks like an undead.
Even without context, It would never come to my mind to blame anyone. 
If Sera doesn't like Cole, because he's is we don't know what, it won't affect me in any way to be honest.
In my team, people are free to think whatever the hell they want about their mates. They are free to doubt, to ignore anyone, to be suspicious, to be friendly, to be in love and to come to me to discuss about their fears, their beliefs and their disagreements. As long as people are loyal to the group, I see no reasons to be upset.

If we are saying Sera is a bully for calling Cole it then we should probably also be saying Cole is a murderer for, um..... being one! 
People have good qualities and bad qualities, how they behave in certain situations can seem unjustified but sometimes it is justified when you know the context, often it's a matter of opinion. Even if Sera is just prejudice against spirits, so what? She could still have other positive qualities. The same reason that allows us to see Cole as more than a killer should allow is to see Sera as more than a bully.
Also it's not the same as being racist or homophobic. People like that have to make up reasons to justify their hatred towards those groups because it is completely unjustified. Cole is a spirit and possibly a demon, they are dangerous and we have met many characters in the past who do not like or trust them.
Cole is more than a murder, he is a compulsive serial killer.

Part of the issue is that so many people on the forums, or at least Cole's fans, are taking his desire to help the innocent at face value. We've read Asunder, we can say with some certainty that Cole, at least, believes it, even if it's not necessarily true.
Sera hasn't read Asunder. None of the characters have. As such she has no reason to believe Cole's desire to help people is genuine and he isn't lying or manipulating everyone. After all, his powers involve memory manipulation; what if he could make people forget the times he's done wrong without making them forget him all together?
So I'm wondering what kind of things you could do to get Sera to leave/attack you after you recruit her.
Usually we get the chance to kill a lot of dalish or other group of elves, I wonder if that'd be one of the chances.

There was a mission shown in a demo last year where the Inquisitor could make a decision between saving a town (I think it was called Crestwood) or possibly sacrificing the town and the people in it to fortify/save a keep. The Inquisitor chose the latter.
This kind of stuff would ****** her off.

I guess but they said that Varric would leave you if you did that and would they take two rogues from you in one swoop?
While listening to Rachel Atkins' to see if she voiced Sera (as someone suggested earlier) I found a VA who I think sounds a lot more like her. Louisa Connolly-Burnham. If you listen to the first commercial and then listen to Sera's combat dialogue where she says something like "Yep. I mean yes. I'm alive. Really alive." they seem to have a quite similar tone of voice (to me anyway). Louisa also seems to do accents well. Does anyone else hear the similarities?

As someone who hasn't read Asunder either, I'm inclined to agree with Sera. Cole seems like a character one should be extremely wary of. (...Though given the enthusiastic reactions of people who have read the book, I'm also willing to concede that my ignorance might be showing.)
I'm not sure if I'll recruit Cole my first playthrough. It depends on the circumstances of how he is introduced. Hopefully, we are given in-game reasons to believe his desire to help people is genuine. Otherwise, I can't see why anyone would rationally make the choice to invite a demon on-board. That said, if we are given such reasons, then it opens up the possibility that Sera is simply being stubborn.

Yeah, before today I was thinking she'd be my go-to Rogue, but after learning about Cole and Sera's reaction to him(which screams hypocritical to me) I'm going to use Cole now.

He doesn't leave (and Sera wouldn't leave based on a single decision), but you can end up with one person...so you might not have any rogues in the end XD
