I somewhat use the tac camera. Just to order my range party members to nuke those damn teleporting Tevinter Mages. I would like to use it more but the limitations and over all wonkyness with the mouse controls tend to get annoying. Really sucks though because DA:O was the first tactical-ish rpg I got into so I was really looking forward to using it in DA:I.

One of my friends says she's totally okay with it, but really, that's quite a rare thing to hear.
If I ever get to play the PC version, I will see what the fuss is all about for myself (assuming the controls stay the same).

I use the tac-cam fine. My only issues with it are I don't feel it gives as much distance as BioWare claimed and it does tend to get hung up on objects which can be irritating in a densely populated by objects combat scene. I do think the one in Origins was better for moving around.

People just don't like change is all.
It took me all of an hour of play to get used to them. It's stunned me how many threads have been made to complain about the controls. I also don't get the "this was made for consoles" charge as if the controls are so difficult that the game is unplayable. It's as you say people do not like change.

Yes, and I'm Hard now. I didn't need it at all on the lower playthroughs, but I am finding Hard more challenging and needing micromanagement in battles so I'm paying far more attention to the skill settings, behavior settings, and tac cam.
