DW rogue on hard is not so bad if you control them yourself, and a piece of cake after you get guard generating weapons. I do a lot of stealth--twin fangs--flanking attack type combos and stay out of the the middle of mobs. Always be flanking and invest in the evasion perks. Bet duelist has better tips but that worked for me.

Re: tac cam: I was ok with it on KBM but it's way better on controller, and I'm resentful.

Edit: we forgot the "combat discussion" part of this thread, lmao. Honestly the Sera thread is never predictable, we talk about everything. :lol/

 

Yep, thats what I've been using as bread and butter so far, stealth and twin fangs.  But I also just completed the Tempest specialization and I think that is going to make me a lot tougher.  

 

I've been focusing on Critical Hit chance and damage, I should focus more on guard and evasion?

because of Final Fantasy I went with PS2 over Xbox and have been a proud loyal PS owner ever since.  PS2 was a wonderful machine.  
 
And the Xbox E3 conference didn't help.  I mean I get where they are trying to go, and they are probably right and someday things will be more or less what they were trying to do....
 
but the way they did it just really angered a lot of gamers.  
 
Biggest mistake?  A military member asked what deployed servicemen and women were supposed to do?  He responded with something like "we have a solution for that, its called Xbox 360"  
 
That really rankled me.
 
But they have their eye on the future, they just tried to force it too fast and with the wrong approach.

DW rogue tips:

 

Upgrade twin fangs, sundering armor for 8 seconds is a noticeable difference in damage. It allows me to kill the Pride Demon in the prologue without abusing the fade rift.

 

Shadow Strike is awesome, especially since it doesn't require you to flank an enemy to deal its full damage. Sometimes you need to knock an enemy down ASAP (looking at you, bloody Terror Troll Demons)

 

Assassin or Tempest works well. Assassin can probably drop flank attack since just killing enemies will stealth you. Tempest Ice and Lighting flasks are at their best with a DW rogue.

 

Thousand Cuts is very powerful but since your stuck with mark of the rift, I'd still skip it. Trust me, add Varric to your party and you won't need Thousand Cuts to obliterate Dragons. DW Rogue's crit rate + Varric's spec = Ownage.

the one on the storm coast? check out Apostate's Landing there. then you get the mission to find the key after exploring the cabin to find the door locked.
