Got that as a human as well. Seems like once you hit Skyhold, you are pretty much expected to be everyones parent and carry the entire world on your shoulders at the same time. lol
They're representative of slave markings. The Dalish got it wrong.
Aithne couldn't keep her marks now that she knew what they really represented. But she was also doing it for Solas.
And they have this deep amazing spiritual kiss, and then he breaks up with her!
This game is pretty rough for Lavellans welp those who want to RP them being proud of their roots. Fascinating at times but the welp my life is a lie big moment knocked me, knocked me hard. Damn that irony, laugh through the horrible truth Crim. 
For those who really don't like the Dalish they had plenty to chuckle about. I can only imagine how awful it must have been for Solas romancers, it was infuriating enough with Sera first time round on my end.

Which is why Bull's romance arc is so great! He actually references that exact issue.
Sera is horrible to Lavellan, but Lavellan is nearly never anything but cold steel. Companions can only react a certain way because the protagonist never demands a different response. Sera probably would react differently to a sobbing Inquisitor, but that isn't allowed.
Sera isn't sympathetic though... she's not a consoling kind of person. IF she agrees with why you are upset, she might suggest you go kill the problem...or steal its clothes or some such, which in her...unique...way is sweet and being supportive.
But in this case she, like already mentioned, probably feels you got what was coming to you. you chose to be with solas, you chose to be all 'efly' and you chose to have him remove your Vassalin (nevermind they were the marks of

I'm still considering romancing Sera as a Dalish elf-y elf, but that'll be waaay down the road.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure Sera doesn't know that your Inquisitor and Solas have broken up... she just wants to know what the heck is going on with your face. It doesn't really make her reaction much better, but at least she's not laughing about your relationship ending? I do kind of wish there were better/more ways to react to her there, though.
(Also, hello, Sera thread! I've been lurking here randomly for a while; I probably won't post again, but I figured I should say hi anyway. I'm currently struggling to get Sera to be friends with my "canon" Inquisitor, and it is incredibly difficult, but I think I might manage it this time. Maybe.)

Well it's hard enough romancing her as a Dalish who wants nothing to do with her identity. My Elf couldn't wait to get away from the clan and relishes being in the Inquisition and the big wide world before her. But Sera's pretty hard to get to know. I knew that rolling this though that if I wanted it to be easy I'd have been better off playing a Qun but I'll do that down the road.

Actualy Sera wasn't laughing at your quizzy, but at the whole dalish thing. Unless the scene is different for a solasmance elf.
Tbh, a hug would suffice. Like c'mon, i know Sera is who she is but she could at least say i'm sorry after her rant about the dalish and gives you a hug, just like you give Varric one.

It's a cutscene with him looking over the battlements. It may be tied to his lyrium arc and what you chose.

I had a pretty good relationship with her with my human noble. Just approve of her pranks even if you choose not to participate. She made some very approving remarks to me after that and I never had an issue with her.

It's definitely got some depth. But never putting myself through that again. I like wandering over to my LI and poking them for a kiss! I still say Bull has the best romance arc in the game, so far.

Yeah..... gives the haters even more fuel to call Sera "evil" (whereas she offered to help poor Cass). If only this scene played out differently.

Varric and Bull were the only characters who ever offered me a drink and Varric's offer gets the whole the gang together. I could wish BioWare had written a few more scenes like that just to give a better sense of some comradery and friendship.
