Still my favourite DA protag though, Inquisy is a close 2nd and I like to forget about the other one. 
For me Leliana had the most shocking moment in my first playthrough. No idea she was going to go through with it. I said... things... to the screen. Then she was kind of scary later talking about becoming divine no matter what anyone thought.

Yep that's the one. I didn't know about the thing you have to do early in the game convo-wise with her so I could not save her. It was frustrating cause it's not a stiuation where you can just reload and old save. Well you can if you want to replay tons of the game!

Hawke is the most relatable protagonist of the bunch, IMO. And I wasn't even a huge fan of DA2.
Inquisitor is definitely the most powerful, though.
