I've Irish and Welsh ancestry, so the Elfy Elf runs deep... I am a bad Englishman as I prefer coffee to tea, among other reasons.

 

London didn't really make me cry in ME more than the rest of Earth, but it was sad. It's hard to make a call on accuracy as it was so far in the future. I can say that the London geography in Thor 2 was hilariously off, though...

 

The international dialling code for the UK is +44. Dunno what else you have to do to call here from Canada...

 

I'm not a royalist by any stretch, but when I see some presidents I sometimes wonder if the royal family is so bad after all. I have seen Mr Bean but I much prefer Blackadder, which is the same guy, but much more wordy and a little less slapstick. Ab Fab? Yeah I've seen that. Actually Pet Shop Boys, the group whose song gave me my username, did a cheesy dance track for that show back in the '90s. Not their finest hour musically, but it fit the show...

I'd never call myself Irish. I was born and bred in Yorkshire in England, but my surname is Irish, so I've Celtic blood in my veins.

 

Not the Cop Show. That was The Thin Blue Line. Blackadder is one where he was in a different period in history each series, starting in Medieval England, then Elizabethan, then Regency and finally World War One.

You could say that. I get up at 3 am and go to bed at around 7-8 pm. If I add 5 or 6 hours it comes to about 8-9 am to 0-1am.

 

It's like teenagehood but reversed.
