I'll take the 80's over the 90's any day. Not everyone had that bubble poodle hair. There were more diverse youth cultures in the 80's then there has been since. I recall a party in Germany I went to in 85 where there were goths, skins, teds, mods, punks, psychedelic revivers, ,metalers, and the big haired new wave kids but there was a lot more options compared to 10 years later or so it seems to me. The music was better too before all of that look at my navel, oh woe is me, grunge stuff.

90s hater. :D

Day off work so I am going to dip into DA:I :D

A hater.....of grunge........I sense irony somewhere there.

I need some help from the people here who actually KNOW a damn about archery.

When you draw the bow, do you hold the bowstring, or the arrow, and the bowstring doesn't touch your fingers at all?

Here's a link. I'm very much a novice, but it seems good to me.

@Crimmy.

No decade has quite had the fashion 'sensibilities' of the 80's. All around cringe worthy.

No pretty straightforward. I loved the indie rock scene. It was diverse and I would go to shows all the time. Went to see loads of bands between 82 and 2000 (and after) and that whole thing really hurt the music scene on a local level. You couldn't go see a show with a bunch of bands without a load of bad Seattle imitators on the bill between 91 and 96. It was pretty awful really.

Over here we had Britpop. Blur, Suede, Pulp... Much less grunge influence although of course you couldn't escape Nirvana...

okay let me try to engage in the convos that I wheezed in here to catch up to...Didn't like Pacific Rim...tired of movies with typical protagonists and a weak sauce plot...The language vidya is cool but I would've paid to see him try speaking Swahili or Geechee. You know it's probably best he didn't lol.

I didn't even know Fallow Mire had a windmill and structures that look similiar to Stonehenge until my fourth playthrough. I'm just so uncomfortable there. I haven't completed that Oasis area since my first playthrough. Freezes too much and the paths to get to the shards are too non-linear and confusing. I don't even go there anymore. it's become my RavenHolm.

(Thanks for answering my question, Rage. I will check it out!)

Lol, l remember those horribad bumbags (fanny packs) growing up, and my mother did have a few of those shoulder pad jackets too, she didn't have that tragic 80s hairstyle though, my aunts did. :P  I was a 90s kid though, I was too busy with my tamagotchi and the Spice Girls.

Well they're a bunch of white boys from the south east of England playing synthpop/industrial music. It's possible that someone might have sampled one of their riffs for a rap track but they have little to do with that scene...

Sounds like terrible music.

Just finished watching Vikings season 2. Better than game of thrones! :D

Also, blood eagle is a very....interesting way to execute someone. If you go after someones family, that someone just might have enough hate in them to do it to you but hot damn even I couldn't imagine something quite as cruel.

It isn't. I don't like hip hop but I wouldn't call it terrible music. It's just not about me or made for me. That's fine...

There is debate about whether it was actually done in real life or if it was tales spread by the Church (common target of Vikings) to paint them as evil. Either way the person who came up with the blood eagle had a very sick imagination.

Vikings is f*cking awesome! I wouldn't say it's better than Game of Thrones but that's just me. The blood eagle scene is just so brilliant. The music, the lighting, everything. Awesome!

It was used to execute Ælla. However, not much is actually known about him.

Nobody. Unless the teacher I'm doing the essay for wants me to do a demonstration of shooting a bow, and I accidentally loose it.
