What happens when you kill someone and you find out that you were wrong and they didn't actually deserve it at all?
Then you live with the guilt?
Or... You don't kill people in the first place. Then you live with the guilt?
who's sera?
butterflies! *frolics about* it compromises my thug, sure. but if it changes the energy in here I will frolic every where. lordt.
For all we know, Sweetheart, you could be the girlies girl of the lot. Frolic away, my dear. Frolic away. ![]()
who's sera?
A wonderful person who has an arrow trained on you right now. Just say "what."
Did anyone here leave Hawke in the Fade with Varric in party? I've left Hawke in the Fade plenty just never brought Varric along with me yet. Does he react much to your decision?

He doesn't react. Or, at least not the way you would expect a long time friend would react.
y'all gotta stop normalizing violence man. this is hella creepy. someone post a picture of butterflies or rabbits or SOMEthing. good god.
No, it's not a good thing. Sometimes, it's necessary. Most of the time, as a response to violence.
And it's never right.
I've even creeped myself out so can we change the topic please?
Will comply.

You realize you messed up gathering intel on the person, and you work all the harder next time.
Alternatively, you try not to dwell on it, I guess.

What Poodle said.
If you're not the archer, you're the target.
Tip: I'm the archer. Watch what you say, or I'll stick an arrow in your armor. It'll take you right out the thread's doors.

no. I'm the masculinest of the masculine IRL.
Hmmm... I have my eye on you, Darling. ![]()

Well, I'm not sure what changes then. Keep on frolicking.
Also, the guy appears to be a troll. Should I loose?
The arrow has no sharp bit.
@wintery it's because you understand the line. i've never once thought that the cool ways to kill folk in Assassin's Creed or ME or DA is something i'd want to do in real life. In real life, there are no health potions or regeneration joints that would save you mid battle. People glorify violence in most cases because they don't understand the consequences or don't care about the consequences. Or apparently depending on WHO you are, there are no consequences. Don't feel bad(if you do) for making a choice to protect your mental health.
@wintery - I agree with assassin, There are a lot of things, side things, a rush from battle, the glorified epicness of winning a great and just war over a terrible enemy at the cost of many lives....that can be enjoyable in a fictional setting, in a fantasy sense, and its okay to enjoy them as long as you understand that fictional line. There are even benefits to exploring your own emotions, your dark sides, exploring how certain things might feel without actually doing those terrible things (Thinking GTA for one here), but again, understanding the line between fiction and reality.
And if sometimes that line is uncomfortable, and you need to take a step back from a specific medium, nothing wrong with that, and nothing wrong with still seeing it in a different medium.
I second this- don't feel bad about protecting your mental or emotional health by taking a step back. Also don't feel bad about enjoying violent games or media, just remember FICTION versus reality...

I was going to post something about human nature and the illusion of civilization, but thought better of it. I sometimes forget that the world is a better place with more dreamers around
