I don't think I have ever looked more forward to a romance option in a game before as much as I am with Sera. Especially since Bioware said the romance plot was going to be more in depth than past titles.

The comic's wiki doesn't say one way or the other. I have an expert that I'm going to ask about this though. My dad would be able to let me know.
Anyhow, back on topic: the "conjuring magic arrows from nothing" could be as simple as a bow enchant. I think both of them are going to be equally good by the end of the game. Leliana was a decent shot at the start of Origins, then became more of a badass with a bow throughout the course of the game. I think Sera is going to be as good if not surpass Leliana by the end of Inquisition.
