Lol, I didn't know what else to call it! It comes in a packet in the box...

Oh I know what you mean, I just never thought of it as "cheese dust" even though really that's what it is, huh.

I suddenly have a craving for this very thing.

It's sooo good. I only had frozen chopped spinach on hand one day, but it was perfect.

You just pop in in with a huge chunk of butter and let the butter foam and brown, then cover with a lid and wait. It all unfurls and then you just season it. Delicious.

It's certainly not cheese in any sense of the word. :P

It just grates when people accuse you of snobbery because of how you talk. Truly it grieves me that one would harbor enmity towards me on account of my diverse repository of vocabulary. :)

Oooooh highbrow BC, talk fancy to me. :P

I can make rice. Rice and ketchup is amazing!

1 jar of tomato sauce.

1 can of tuna in oil.

Make rice, add tomato sauce and tuna, stir in, add grated parm cheese to the top. Instant starving university student meal. Cheap too and good.

I feel ya BC, on that "stop talking that way just so you sound smart" pain. I just talk that way. :(

But I do think Dorian gets a kick out of confusing Sera, because he's a bit of a pompous ass, as noted, hehe. Solas, though, boy just talks that way.

Damn now I want some veggies but my kitchen is empty!!! Thread!!!

My brows will go high or low.

But you of all people should know,

If it will earn me a giggle

I will even make them wiggle.

He was wont to speak plain and to the
purpose, like an honest man and a soldier; and now
is he turned orthography; his words are a very
fantastical banquet, just so many strange dishes.

Oh, Grey Warden...

Roamingmachines "Can't be arsed but still won't touch fast food" dinner:
Instant noodles (a block, not the stuff that's already in the cup
bits of sausage
whatever veggies you have on hand, chopped up

Put ingredients in to a pot of boiling water. Season according to taste. Let boil until the water is gone.

Even Sera could do it :P

I agree, that does sound rather easy. Still, my most-cooked meal is eggs.

And why not. I love 'em little tasty white-yellow things.

Hot damn, it's the language barrier...

I'm back in a minute. I'd bet I know all of those words in my native, if not English.

Edit: I read that again, turns out I only wasn't sure about one word, but it turns out this word has roots right where I thought it would.

Indeed .Why should the capacious and expansive nature of the lexicon of which we are cognisant cause others to automatically presuppose pomposity and arrogance?

Jolly good job, I'd say!

Continue talking in such a way, would you please? There seem to hardly be better opportunities for improvements and expansions of one's vocabulary!

(Seriously now, I barely understood the other half, going to Google Translate and be right back)

Emmental and lettuce and garlic aoili are the best burger toppings. Yuuum. With sweet potato fries. *food coma*

peel, boil and mash about two sweet potatoes with a pinch if salt and about tablespoon and 1/2 of butter. Form into a potato cakes and saute them tell they are brown and crispy.Cook your burger the way you like, but seasoned with chooped green onions, table spoon of worcestershire sauce (peer half lb of beef)  and table spoon of cajun seasoning. Add a healthy pinch of blacked seasoning to four table spoons of mayo. Lastly warm four or five precooked and peeled shrimp and skillet with enough garlic aoili to thinly coat them. Put the sweet potato on a plate. spread half on the mayo on it. Place the burger patty on top with the shrimp, making sure to spoon over the aoili sauce and oil left in the pan.

As for cheese. Use something on the sweeter end of cheeses. Be sure to melt the cheese onto the burger. You can use a metal mixing bowl to cover the burgers when they are about 3/4th of the way done to quickly melt the cheese.

Not a big Solas fan which worries me about DLC's since BioWare has made Solas the most important character in the game. This game isn't set up for the multiple games that I had on the other Dragon Age games. Way too much grinding to play the storyline, and most of the companion quests don't interest me to play more than once. I've only finished one game out of the four that I've started, two games I can finish pretty much at any time and one I just gave up on. I have one more planned play through so I probably will end up with four to five finished games which is about 1/2 of my DA2 games and 1/4 of my DAO games. I've enjoyed the game but unfortunately the grinding makes it less fun for replays, at least for me, this makes DLC's that much more important for me. With my favorite character being the least liked and least important character in the game my hopes aren't high for DLC's at this point.

When you add the fact that my favorite race to play in this game is elf and I have no interest in Josie it makes the game very limited for me. In order to play elf and romance Sera you have to limit how you play and ignore some of the comments made by Sera. It's really a shame for me that I have difficulty playing qunari and dwarfs as Sera seems to be made for them. My Human play through was very bland to me and no matter what analyses is given for her immediate acceptance of a noble human, I don't buy it sorry.

But then again I may just be in a bad mood.

I'm not even sure how they'll handle dlc in terms of more story. I thought I read we would not be getting an "Awakenings" style expansion? If we don't then I've been wondering how they intend to handle that Sola's cliffhanger they left us with.

As for the grinding at least they give you the option to blow off missions without it counting towards how you complete the story. That makes it a little easier.

After all, the realm of semantics and vocables is one of wondrous marvels. It is much like a box of confections to those of an intellectual bent. I use words to pull and twist and paint a picture; the journey my mind travels. If you will not share my delight, how can I show you where I went?

Fancy, although maybe a bit too spicy for me.

But it does sound delicious!

Speaking of language barrier: I remember once I was trying to watch a historical drama in Mandarin and having a lot of trouble, even though I thought I'd been doing well (I am ofttimes undeservedly an optimist). My friend from Jiangsu said "In that show they're using a lot of words no one uses anymore. You'd never pick those up normally." And then I felt silly for not realizing that out on my own. But then she was already reading Jane Austen so she was doing much better than I at catching long sentences in another language.

The funny thing about English if you are a native romance langue speaker like Cat, is that the "long difficult intellectual" versions of words often sound like the normal words in your own language...

Example: Speed is more or less a synonym of velocity (although not in a strict mathematical sense) and the French for speed is velocité...

I find Jane Austen difficult, even though I adore pride and prejudice, I have a very hard time following Elizabeth and Darcy's conversations!
