Eirene, admit it. All the history classes and stuff made you unable to post short.

Christ... How can you write this much?
If Eirene is like me in this respect then the question is more how do you not write so much.
Oh... I just thought of a song for Serza, and possibly Sardaukar...
You're the one with the thing for Spits.
Though the Spitfire is supposed to have been named after someone's daughter, who was described as a real spitfire. Beats Supermarine Shrew.
Anyway. That was longer than I planned. Point is, the Dalish are stupid and they don't need to be, and I think that that is a Bad Thing.
I think the Dalish fall victim to the world building being more obviously flawed. The depiction of say warfare in Thedas doesn't really make any sense, but they don't show enough of it for that to be clear (also game mechanics) meanwhile you can fairly easily see that the Dalish don't have a working economy.
Neither Thedas or Mass Effect are built on particularly sound rules though.

*snip*
Dalish specifically are a bunch of obnoxious twits.
There. I removed all the stuff that was utterly irrelevant and just left the crux of your post. First you acknowledge that the game world does indeed work as written, realistic or not, and then go right ahead trying to justify your personal hate for the Dalish with with real-world stuff that is completely and utterly irrelevant to the game world. Nice, but I have seen that tactic used before on the boards and it doesn't work. So sorry. The Dalish survive living as they do. They are the way they are because the world around them is the way it is. And that's the end of it.

Th- that's a small essay!
That's a tiny essay, according to historian standarts.
Serza? Is that a ship name or a typo?
That'd be me.

I tend to sum up a lot of what I am saying in less words.

Wow, really? That'd be similar to how Sopwith Pup got it's name.
It was originall Sopwith Scout, but the earlier "Strutter" looked essentially like a larger, two-seat version of it.
Supposedly, some general said that the "Strutter got itself a puppy", and it stuck. Pup.
I still don't quite get it. Is strutter a kind of dog...?

They're my favourites, but when I was a kid I treasured this book...

I think it's just poetic language. Some people refer to aircraft like they were women, others dogs, others treat them like inanimate objects.

Same thing with boats and cars. You have to name your ship (generally a feminine name) and most people nowadays name their cars. My mums is called Leroy. ![]()

Oooh, a Schwalbe (Swallow) and a Mustang. My Little Pony for REAL men.
Except, you know. A Mustang is no little pony, it's a majestic horse, descending from the Spanish Conquistador's horses.
I have flown a Schwalbe a few times in Il-2, but I never liked it much. a Mustang, however...
I bought the P-51D for DCS, and when you fire up that engine - WOW. The ROAR of the wizard is a thing to behold.

Ah, I see. Well, still, that's the story of how the Pup got it's name. Someone thought of it as a little puppy of the Strutter.

Ships, yeah. They're always female. Cars, though...?
I do recall that armored vehicles are often named somehow.
Once, in ArmA 2 a couple years back, we named the medical Vodnik my squad was rolling with "Marfusha".
That was about a four hour session, but ever since, when we saw a medical Vodnik anywhere, we always said "Hey, that's Marfusha"

Okay, maybe. I'm just saying, everyone I know has named their one car one thing or another.

I have question. If I remember correctly Celene was said to be gay, right?
So now I've opened for the first time those Halla doors in Celene's quarters, where there was that naked soldier tied to the bed, basically saying that she seduced him into telling her what he knew about Gaspard.
She's supposed to be lesbian, right? And Bioware writers put her in sexual situation with a man?

It's never said. It's said she had relations with a woman. Doesn't mean she's gay.

No, she tricked the man for some "fun" and she tied him on the bed for info i think. He clearly says so.

Her writer confirmed that she's gay.

He was naked and tied to bed. What did Celene have to do to make him end up in such position?
Why did the writers even come up with such idea? Just imagine how it looks like to an average straight player.

To trick him for sex. Nothing happened, he clearly says so. I could see it as her demanding (in a sexy way so he'll think it's play) to take off his clothes and rest on the bed and then tie him. Then questions ensue.
