And so, he was as broke as he was before. The moral of the story is that rhinos are not worth the trouble.

I never tried the 50 on the rhino, but the game is definitely not garbage. The gameplay is ridiculously fun. This game gives you so many opportunities to mess with the enemy.

I've never killed nugs so I don't know about that, but take him out with Iron Bull and Solas if you have the chance..

The entire thing is, if a fifty cal isn't among the most powerful, or THE most powerful weapon in the game, AND there is no plasma/lasers/gauss/mass accelerator/whatever, someone should probably go back to the drawing board.

Also, I might note that for the purposes of this conversation, I only count small arms, and not vehicle-mounted weaponry such as 20+mm autocannons or tank main weapons. Also, I sort of dumped rocket launchers, silly me. Those are dependent on type of warhead used.

There. I removed all the stuff that was utterly irrelevant and just left the crux of your post. First you acknowledge that the game world does indeed work as written, realistic or not, and then go right ahead trying to justify your personal hate for the Dalish with with real-world stuff that is completely and utterly irrelevant to the game world. Nice, but I have seen that tactic used before on the boards and it doesn't work. So sorry. The Dalish survive living as they do. They are the way they are because the world around them is the way it is. And that's the end of it.

It must be sad for you to live in that bubble without even any reading comprehension to keep you company.

No offence to Eirene, but if she and I were to describe Sera, her description would likely be three times a long as mine. No judgement on whose description would be better. I just tend to be economical with my words. I always struggled to meet word counts in academic assignments. It's just down to different writing styles.

I'm sure the context would be completely different if only so many lesbian characters in the media weren't portrayed in such way, as deep down wanting men sexually. But it isn't so, and myths it encourages encourage in turn sexual violence against lesbians, which I am survivor of myself.

I can't speak as intimately or eloquently about the sorts of things misoretu has been through, and I don't consume as much media as she does so I can't bring up specific examples like she can. I know more than a few women who have had experiences like hers, even though the most I've ever come in for is verbal abuse and constant, grinding, dehumanizing low-level harassment. I completely agree that a lot of guys everywhere assume lesbianism is a "confusion" or a "phase" or something ugly girls do when they can't get the D, and that it can totally be cured by REAL MAN SEX because we all totally want guys deep down right?

So it hits a fairly sore spot to see popular depictions of lesbians in media in the same light. I won't pretend that me telling some guy at a party to F off is doing something great for the Cause, but doing that and then seeing most lesbians on TV or in games end up in sexual situations with men anyway is disheartening. Happy, stable, non-tragic, non-exploitative lesbian relationships are few and far between in a lot of pop culture.

It's not fair to the Dragon Age writers to make them responsible for righting the wrongs of society. I genuinely appreciate what they did in making the most powerful person in Thedas lesbian. That's cool. I also agree with the storytelling decision to make the most powerful person in Thedas a backstabbing, exploitative jackass, because that's what monarchs are like anyway. What I don't like is the confluence of those two things, and I don't like that it's the single most prominent lesbian relationship in the series without at least something else to offset it.

I specced him as an archer because I'm DW on this run. He won't be going near any bears.

If nugs didn't have that lovely ranged defence attribute, I'd leave them alone... Won't be long now until I pass on to tier 2 leathers for my crafting, so they'll be safe again... I intend to take him with a few people, although I don't know how long I can stand not to have Sera in my party...

Would have been nice to find something afterward . Maybe make that Leliana personal quest into her finding a Will of the previous Divine about the peace treaty....
