Why is it that bear and druffalo fights are more exasperating than the end fight with Corypheus?
You'd think he'd be a little tougher to beat than wildlife!

Perhaps the next boss of the next game should have an army of druffalo-bears instead of a dragon.

Sympathies. I may joke about your brand of football, but as a Leeds United fan I know that sort of pain all too well...No, I am not good. The cheese has fallen, the Packers won the game but still lost, and while the Hawks are a deserving team they already have their ring and damnit the Packers earned it...but at least now the Pats and the Hawks will still be two deserving teams and that is a damn good matchup...but Arod deserves a second ring and dangit....but at least we get to see two great Dark Forces clash for the Sage's Trophy....but still..so deflating...
so maybe a tad grumpier than usuall..but...1st world problems ya know...I got a full belly, a warm house, and games galore so I'm good.....

whats tge difference between a trebuchet and a catapult
The wa I understand it, a Trebuchet is a type of catapult. You might call something that uses tension a "catapult", but a "Trebuchet" uses counterweight instead. I'll have to read into it some more.

For some reason I'm picturing Sera being catapulted at an enemy now. No idea why.
Such a thought could be interpreted as heretical but think of the mayhem. The maaayhem.

I just want to tell them to stop writing their damn names everywhere because they'll regret it if they break up and definitely not to go into the caves!!! (I love those two, what a hilarious tiny substory that shows up more than you'd expect. It's the details that get me, every time. Always makes the game feel more "real")

We've had one illness or medical issue after another here for the past few weeks. I'm starting to forget what it feels like to be a "functioning human being", but at least dragon age?

I saw a TV show not too long ago that took place during the Boshin War, and a group of women in Aizu apparently fought as a group with naginatas in the war. They definitely had the reach on swords, but in both the show and real life they lost because the other side had guns.
That's interesting, do you remember a name for the group or anything?
That's actually the best thing about ancient weaponry. We have advanced so much that now we have protection from MODERN weapon systems. But what we dropped to protect againist those, is protection from older weapon systems. And yeah, that's a fancy way of me saying "SWORDS YO"
While modern equipment might be of decent protection againist firearms, it simply won't match a sword, if it gets in range.
Also, people are not generally trained in swordsmanship. It's a weapon completely alien to modern battlefields.
I'm pretty sure that falls into the category of 'if that worked even half as well as you think it did it would be reflected on the battlefield'.
I'm sure they would make another female assassin in the next game. I mean they did drop the ball. (lL0lz! we only created white male protagonists, because female characters are too hard to animate!)
I wouldn't hold my breath. Ubisoft seems to have a problem with female protagonists.
Capcom made it. Remember Me. Featuring an equally awesome memory assassin. I guess because Capcom made it sorta comic-ky, it didn't do so well. I personally loved it.
Capcom published, the developer was a French studio called Dontnod Entertainment.
I thought the game had issues, but it's cool enough that if it taps into what you like then you'll love it.

Why was your building designed by Hollywood?

It's a municipal building. A system with a single point of failure is easy to design and cheap untill, you know, it fails.....But why would that bother politicians and beancounters? ![]()

Ban canary?
You know how if you have a mine, there's a risk of dangerous gases building up because of confined spaces and poor ventilation? Well sometimes they'd have canaries in cages around because canaries get sick before miners do, so if one dies everyone knows it's time to leg it.
You're like that, for the thread. If you get banned, everyone else knows it's time to stop flirting with fighter planes and start arguing about whether or not Sera is good representation, because that's safe and on topic.

Yeah but having the internet as that single point of failure... that's special.
It's the kind of thing you make up to explain why when some chump plugs in Javier Assange's laptop he can hack the whole of MI6.
