omg seriously, could I breathe normally enough to get just one good night's sleep for a change? That's what I want for my birthday.

:(

Not breathing sucks, but does that mean it is / near your birthday?

#NotACyberStalker

This is the drama, but it's based on the lives of real people

Thanks. Maybe not the happiest women in combat story, but good to know.

The wa I understand it, a Trebuchet is a type of catapult. You might call something that uses tension a "catapult", but a "Trebuchet" uses counterweight instead. I'll have to read into it some more.

"My lips are sealed"...

Well yes, but that's not the same as giving them permission to use the building as their sneakaway place, because they talk about where to go next time.

Wait, there is another option?

Both my playthroughs are a lie!

It's in the general vicinity of this season, or thereabouts.

No, they didn't end well, though Yae, who fought with a rifle in the war, lived a long time. Aizu was on the losing side of that war, and their domain was the last to fall so the whole country was coming for them. They really didn't have a chance but they didn't stop fighting.

Alright Sera-ites, I'm a third through my Cadash playthrough.

This means it is time to create the perfect and ideal LI for Sera. Who wants to help?

I think Cynical Me is reacting to the phrase "perfect and ideal LI" with thoughts like "no love is perfect and ideal, it's all flawed"...

I am probably grumpy today

Sera seems quite happy with Cadash this playthrough, although we might have had an argument about the Pie Incident...

Err, put people first and be witty?

So, elf then?

Poodle, I don't think I'm going to be able to look at your avatar without thinking canary now, that made me laugh, @SardaukarElite. Just be careful, we don't want you to get booted.

I'm gonna pull all of it back now. I don't want to make people uncomfortable here, seeing as I came in a lot later than most of you regulars.

Actually, funny enough I don't want the sugary sweet/nothing ever goes wrong romance.

I want the roller coaster, but ultimately with a happy ending. I do want Sera's eyes to bug out when she sees my quizzie though. I want her to droool every time she walks in the room. :P

Well Qunari Mage then, obviously. There's no such thing as a Seramance with no conflict, and the Qunari's the only one she's going to "woof" at. If you can forgo the woofing, roll an Elven mage who is slowly losing her Dalish faith as I did. Maximum conflict but it makes sense to let her have her way post-Mythal and then you get a happy ending.

Does... does it have to be a mage? *shudder*

No, elf alone can give you plenty of drama.

I sort of did that, but more like her faith was already kind of on the agnostic side and then she was totally shaken by what happened at the conclave. So her faith in pretty much anything fell off a cliff and was gone.

No, but she's scared of magic so you get the freaking out about your specialisation. It's a minor thing, really, in the grand scheme of Sera freak-outs, though.

Bah... mages. Loved them in DA:O but not enough throwing around the elements to tempt me. Hate those stupid glyphs, I just want to toss a gigantic explosion into a room!

I would like to play a qunari again... But I think I'd be tempted by Bull! I'd have to play the lone Tal-Vashoth who doesn't wwant any Ben-Hasserath looking over her shoulder...

Yeah mine was already wondering too, which is why she jumped at the chance of attending the conclave. She wanted to find out about other people and faiths. That experience shook her faith further for sure, and it was a combination of learning about powerful fade spirits, Corypheus and the nature of Mythal that made her believe that whoever the the Dalish gods were, they weren't worth worshipping.

Those women knew the way. Thankyou for bringing them up, I had never heard of them before though I have some knowledge of that period of Japanese history :)

I have a... thing for lightning magic. I find it very cathartic to be an electric mage.

I have no idea what that says about me.

"Do I look fat in this?" ;) But seriously, no relationship survives full disclosure.

I just saw people talking about the show when it was coming up, and I enjoy learning about women who were warriors in history, so I wanted to see it.

I ended up enjoying it for the story as well, though it was kind of horrifying watching these people try to make the right decisions that seemed honorable at the time though it keeps drawing the net tighter around them... and most of them can see the cliff they're walking toward and can't do anything to stop it.
