What do we think of the name Ilythia for a qunari. It means readycomer. 

 

Don't any of you say anything dirty in regard to that name, or I'll smack you.

I just saw people talking about the show when it was coming up, and I enjoy learning about women who were warriors in history, so I wanted to see it.
 
I ended up enjoying it for the story as well, though it was kind of horrifying watching these people try to make the right decisions that seemed honorable at the time though it keeps drawing the net tighter around them... and most of them can see the cliff they're walking toward and can't do anything to stop it.

...And they won't stop walking despite knowing their fate. And that is why those women have my utmost respect.

Lmfaaoooo, this name means stupid in Greek.

Actually she was a greek goddess of birth but the name literally sounds like stupid/idiot.

Exactly. I really enjoyed playing as a mage and I thought it made more sense story wise. I'm going to play as a qunari next(haven't done it yet). IB with an elf, human or dwarf? My imagination doesn't stretch that far

It was so easy to play my qunari Acantha with Bull. She only had eyes for the other qunari she'd seen since the conclave. He reminded her of home.  

 

Human is easy enough to also canon, since Bull is really... integrated into society.

for my qunari i take "names" from qunlat if that help

Has to be a name beginning with a vowel. Quirk of mine that makes naming stupidly difficult, lol.

Yep, heh. It's the female version of stupid.

 

But the correct name for the goddess of birth is Eileithyia. This may sound like "stupid", but the meaning is not. Ilythia, on the other hand..... it means stupid. XD

 

They have the same pronunciation but the grammar is different. Yeah, greek is weird and complicated sometimes...

I'd suggest you go with the name I wrote, it's quite fiting for a qunari.

But she's a Goddess of Vengeance, isn't she? Although Erinye is a pretty name.
