I got a 2TB for £70. It was £30 off. Not sure if that's a good deal but I'm happy with it.

I had to take the history of historians course when I did the history major. "Historiography" was the generally given reason for it. They want you to understand the development of the discipline and the evolution of the field. It was equally frustrating and I felt much as you did when presented with it. Grin and bear it if it's your career choice.
Well, I do sort of know the different models, and some names, but that's the actual DEVELOPMENT of the discipline. A guy asks me about people who are alive and haven't really contributed to the development of the disicpline itself, guy gets me angry.
But I'm not doing art. I'm doing graphics. Completely different area.
So, like Photoshop and the sort?
I remember when I read that supposedly, Sarmatian girls weren't allowed to get married until they had killed a man in battle.
That right there was worth reading some history.
Had to suck if they managed to go a lifetime without war.
Although I suspect that never happened, in that sort of culture.

Yep. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Those are the main three we use. Not so much Photoshop anymore. We can utilise the entire Adobe package though. I just have no idea how to.

It might be people they think are important right now and will contribute to the development. I'd still rather read in history than read about or discuss historians. That side of it never interested me.

I did the tiniest bit of Photoshop in high school.
It barely went well.

Well, when the guy gives you the "are you f*cking kidding how did you even make it to this school, you should get fired immediately" look, you're bound to get sort of angry, right.
Actually repeated the question a few times, keeping up that sort of tone. "What the F are you even doing here."

Learning printing techniques. Not everything is done on computers but seriously, I'm never going to paint with fruit.

I'd have dropped the course and reported him to the department ombudsman (I once did write a scathing letter about a prof to the ombudsman which had the effect of achieving an apology from the prof so sometimes that avenue works). I assume this is an instructor? If it is that's pretty unprofessional.

They had Scythians, Germanic Tribes, and the Roman Empire at least... I imagine they had a few opportunities.

You'll be grateful for it if any of your other classes start giving you trouble. Mickey courses are good for giving you a mental break while still keeping you productive.
