That's possible, but it would necessitate romancing Cassandra, and I'm not at all sure about that; among other things, our religions are likely to clash. And unlike my Warden, my Inquisitor may well want to have children...

While we're at it, did Fenris react differently to a mage Hawke? If so, to what extent?

 

I never played a mage Hawke so I don't know.

 

Not a huge amount really. There's maybe a little extra wariness when they first meet, and there's some clearly different mage or magic specific dialogue but the friendship path is mostly very similar for a mage or non mage Hawke. I would imagine the rivalry path is too.

What you do is you get two character from Team Vulgar - say Iron Blull and Sera - and you mix with one from team Thoughtful - Cassandra or Solas depending on your class.

Then you enjoy them being horribly vulgar while the third keeps on going 'Really? Do you have to say that? No, I am not involved in this conversation. I will not tell you how many Antivan milk sandwiches I've had; I might not know what that is but I'm smart enough to not ask.'

A lot of people do it as a preference.

 

I start out with different combinations, but at some point, once I've seen a good amount of what they have to offer, I end up sticking with a 'default' party for the rest of the game, which can be for any number of reasons, ranging from banter to combat balance.

It's just a name for certain companions you bring, like how in Mass Effect taking Garrus and Tali was refereed to Team Dextro

Yes.

I am lazy with inventory and refuse to constantly upgrade those sad sacks sitting in the camp.

I'm gonna play half a dozen playthroughs (within a few months, more after I take a break and want to come back later), so I prefer taking different combinations of party members through different playthroughs so I can see the most unique situations.

I try to mix it up at times, but I won't lie... by halfway through the game I already have my favorite combination. I will mix it up with each play-through, though. ~

I don't stick with one but if I'm traveling around with a group I'm likely to run over a lot of banter points with (Like if I'm doing stuff in a city or whatnot) I love to have ones with funny talks around.

Hatred of spirits is a small step away from hatred of magic, and once you're there, it takes barely anything to hate mages.

Not really. It depends on the reason she hates and fears demons.
For example, IB's VA explained the reason why he fears demons, and it woudn't lead him to hate mages (if anything he goes along with Vivienne and possibly Dorian, judging by the team YOLO thing ).

I'm going to go with Varric/Sera/Blackwall probably. I don't know what I would name that.

 

Anyway, I'm pretty sure demons pouring out of violent rifts in the sky to slaughter everyone is a good reason to distrust demons.
