Voice work can be fun. But boring as hell at the same time. Spending hours in a recording booth saying the same lines over and over. So just be prepared for that. Also, drink soda if you are doing short sessions or honey if you are doing long sessions. Drinking water does help, but soda and especially honey coat your throat more effectively and really help cut down on the stress on your vocal cords and throat by talking for long periods of time.

Is it weird that when I hear Cat I think of Mira Furlan? She's Croatian, not a French speaker, and you can hear that difference in the background accent, but there's something... I don't know... Maybe that both now live in a North American English speaking city?
Am I going mad?
(By the way, I love Mira Furlan. I think she's a really talented actress. I mean, she's played lead roles in her second language...)
