If you like cauliflower, personally I can't stand the stuff :P

That's why I mash it. On it's own it's pretty awful.

I have not eaten well today.

I had a breakfast sandwich with my coffee; lots of protein but I can't even pretend that it's healthy. Lol at McDonald's commercials, making an egg mcmuffin sound healthy.

With Uncle, I was like "Wow, how can he sound so young?"

Isn't Uncle like, actually not hideously old?

I was supposed to like Bioshock Infinite too and yet I found it tedious and shallow and never made it more than a few hours into it before I was overwhelmed by a sense of "why am I doing this?" I had a similar reaction when I bought into the hype for Dark Souls and a few hours in was asking myself "why am I doing this? I mean what's my raison d'etre here?"

In the BioWare games I've found the answers to "why am I doing this?" and I've discovered I need that motivation in my games. I need that reason to give a damn.

Infinite's combat is fairly lacking as far as chaotic sandbox shooters go. The story is kind of the point but that's not half as clever as it thinks it is - granted it think it's twice as smart as Einstein. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't say it was great, though I would say it's a candidate for Jennifer Hale's best performance.

The best of the story heavy  action thing I've played is The Last of Us, but playing that game is a kind of emotional trauma.

I've always looked and sounded younger than I am, but at the same time, I've always been an old man at heart. Never liked parties. Never liked nightclubs (although I do enjoy going to gigs).  And that cliché where they say that when you're young you think you're indestructible? Never had it. I've always been acutely aware of my own mortality...

I guess when someone is twice as old as you, it can seem that way...

What is wrong with mushrooms? With a little salt and onion powder and garlic flavoured oil, they are absolutely delicious!

Bah, Skyrim.

Thinking about the time I went off FPS games, it coincides quite neatly with me playing KoTOR and its sequel, so yeah. Maybe I can blame BioWare for that, too.

Yuck, hot sauce.

Give me garlic and salt and onion powder or paprika, any day. But spicy? Nope!

I think that the story there did put me off. On paper it jibed with my own politics but it was a little too cute for me and glib. I found it thinner than it probably wanted to be and the action was well...meh. I'll have to check on The Last of Us since I am not really familiar with it.

I go back and forth with spicy. There are times I need some serious chilis, something Thai, something flavorful that gets my endorphins going. Then for a while I'll need some food that's quiet and dull.

The Last of Us does seem very interesting, but I wasn't about to buy a console just for one game...

My Mother is a southerner descended of farm folk so collards were served often in my home growing up and with tabasco sauce as she liked it.

Yuck, hot sauce.

Dazzle...really? No Siracha? No Cholula? That stuff is the bomb!

I don't mind sweet Thai spices, but it needs to be really mild.

Now that I'm thinking about that, I'm going out with a friend tonight and I might see if she's in the mood for Thai. There's a really nice place down the road.

Skyrim was...interesting. I felt overwhelmed by the quests and I never completed the game. not once. it got lonely. Jenassa flirted with me I think and I got excited. Never did get to tap that wolfy goodness that was...wait what was the one Companion chicks name? Aela? Aeia?

I only ever created a Nord(Valencia). I wanted to play as an Orc and Wood Elf but I felt no inspiration to go back to the game. The bow and arrow system was the best one I have played with in any game to date though. incorporating the breathing technique felt real.

*edit* also the shaved loc hairstyle...they got that one right. LOVED that.
