I couldn't go an be unable to just shoot all the bad guys. I would rely on pure aggression too much. A cop needs to ask questions first, shoot stuff maybe. A soldier is mostly called to places where shooting first, asking questions never is an option.

Push your knowledge of small arms to be able to identify place of manufacture and work as a contraband investigator for the border services.

If you have a chance to visit Lake Louise, do so! It's breathtaking!
o-BANFF-LAKE-LOUISE-facebook.jpg

The hiking at Lake Louise is the most beautiful that I've ever done. Hiking up to the glacier tea house with a wonderful view of the glacier, lake and the Château is just spectacular. Damn I want to go back again, the Jasper and Banff National Park area is one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen. Highly recommend Pyramid Lake Resort just outside of the town of Jasper, the horseback riding in the area is awesome.

I get worked up when I see this. :)

It's something we ("we" as in people who live in Sicily) call "brioche": a kind of soft and sweet bread, that it's usually cut in half and stuffed with ice cream; the thing on the top is detachable and you can use it as a sort of spoon for the ice cream. It's absolutely delicious:

that needs to be in my mouth right now

Take up Muay Thai. I find kicking people very therapeutic.

Alternatively, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It's an even better way to work out aggression and humbling to boot.
Nothing like getting armbarred from a girl to remind you that you ain't s***

How did I miss this? Yes they sell this at the Sicilian cafe in York, so I guess it must be an authentic place. Calorie bomb but oh so good! :D

It seems you used to do a lot of things that you no longer do? How come?

Combination of depression and breathing issues, I don't have a lot of energy.

Now that I think about it, though, I made some cookies a few weeks ago for the office and they were gone pretty quickly. Seems like people enjoyed them :)

Okay when I was doing a lot of baking, I remember seeing brioche recipes, but I figured I shouldn't try to make something if I had no idea what it is. That looks really tasty, though.

Mmm cookies! I can't wait until you can get goods pressed through the computer screens! :P

*imagines some Star Trek world where Wintery can send cookies by transporter to everyone in the thread*

Who wouldn't find punching or kicking things terapeutic

I tried Muay Thai a few years ago. Loved it, but man is it brutal on your shins. Admittedly I didn't have the time to devote to Muay Thai to get to the point where you start deaden nerves and build up bone strength. I might take it up again. Though, I'm a brawler at heart. Headbutts, punches, suplexes seem to work well enough for me.
