More than likely it's one or the other. You ain't getting Sera and Cassandra as LIs for the female Inquisitor.
Everybody it getting at least a choice of two, might as well be Cass and Sera for poetessquisitors ![]()

I just think that a higher percentage of straight males seem to like Sera's looks over Cassandra I may be wrong. It could just be a matter of Sera being younger. Whether the people who don't like her looks are just more vocal I really have no clue. It just seems to me that a lot of lady loving women seem to find Cassandra swoon worthy including me.
Maybe it's her vendetta against paper. ![]()

Why not. Cass could be bi.

Actually, I think it's highly probable that we will. I doubt Bioware would repeat the "most plot-centric LIs are only straight" fiasco they committed in DAO.
I don't know. I saw a lot of complaints of straight males for Sera as well.I just think that a higher percentage of straight males seem to like Sera's looks over Cassandra I may be wrong. Most complaints were about Sera being lesbian though.

I find both Sera and Cassandra swoon-worthy.
Vivienne too...what is wrong with me I want them all

I don't see why not. Until Bioware lets it be known flat out that Cassandra is 100% straight I don't think speculation that she could be the bi LI is irrational.
So I'm wondering about recruitment order. Will we get Sera in time to take her to a fancy orlesian ball and see her mess with the nobles?
We meet her in a city. So I'm thinking either Val Royeaux or Halamshiral just into for the ball.

I like Cassandra's look over Sera. A lot of people do.

True.....We shall see.....
Maker's breath, I forgot how stupid Carroll was. I probably should stop bringing Shale there, I miss a lot of dialogs. The guy is still alive too, isn't he? We are probably going to run into him in DAI...and maybe we get a callback to this poetess reference with Sera in the party.
Personally I find the second image too refined and flawed in the sense that it removes 'flaws'This might make me sound shallow, but I'm sorry: Sera has a face only a mother can love.
Obviously everyone has different tastes, but I feel like Bioware relied too heavily on the stereotype of lesbian = butch tomboy. I get that they wanted her to be kind of like a scruffy street urchin type, but why did she have to end up looking like this?? She looks like an angry troll.
(And I'm not trying to be a troll here. I think Sera sounds like such a cool character, I just wish Bioware had tried a little harder to make her look more like the concept art...)
This is more how I envisioned Sera:
What do you guys/girls think??

If you'll allow a gal to quote Doctor who, 'You know when you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think "Not bad. They're okay" and then you get to know them and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality is written all over it. And they just turn into something beautiful.'
The later part is pretty much why I'm so hype about the way these character are going to look in Inquisition. They're not conventional pretty (except for Vivienne, she's fabulous) but the way they look speaks volumes about their character and in time (or now for myself) you couldn't see them with any other face because it just wouldn't be them.

With the revelation of Sera and Dorian, I think it's a good sign. So far, the different companions seem to be tied to different on-going plots in Ferelden and Orlais, so I think the issue that arose with Alistair and Morrigan being so prominent to certain overall plots won't be an issue here. They all seem to have a role to play, and a story to tell, in the narrative of Inquisition.
Also, I stole the following mini-Sera from ClassicBox.

Aww, thanks. And now I have the mental image of Sera jumping out of a cake...

Well, I'll wish you a Happy Birthday then too!
And I now share the same mental image.

It's funny, because that's the kind of thing she'd actually do as a surprise. Except instead of dancing, I think that glomping would be more likely.

Yes, then she'll smear cake all over your face.
Don't worry about itYou know what? You're absolutely right. I was just being shallow... Sorry *hangs head in shame*
I'm sure I'm going to fall in love with Sera as soon as we get to know her character more (and, as a gay guy, who am I to say what would make her more attractive?? I'm not even attracted to women)

Companions where tied to different on-going plots in both DAO and DA2 as well. Leliana and Sten are exception, but they ended up with larger roles in the setting in the end.

While wearing nothing except cake herself?
