I have waterproof shoes, a waterproof jacket and waterproof overtrousers. I never leave the house without an umbrella, even on a nice day. These things help... Also the rain in the UK isn't generally as heavy as people from hotter countries think. It's not like we have huge downpours all the time. It's often quite light but just persistent...

sounds like seattle in a good year..... there was a year where we had pretty like 1 inch of rain per day, for about a month, quite fun.

I only use mine in the summer. In the fall and winter I just toss the hood of my hoodie up.

I can accept light rain (I still don't like it, but I can accept it), but here it's definitely not raining in a light way...the sky is coming down I tell you. There are thunders and such...have I mentioned that I hate rain?

I've been out purging heretics, and somehow getting dragged into the Wheel of Time universe. (or well letting myself get dragged into another d20 campaign, so now I've got two campaigns every week)

my only concern with being caught in the rain is getting sick. but I do enjoy reenacting shampoo commercials and dance vidyas in the rain.
