its a bit of practicality cause the longer or looser attire the harder it is to get control. And figure skating requires flexiblity and reach so that why its like that

Lol, it's for aerodynamics. The higher a skirt twirls the less wind resistance you get pulling you back down. 

 

It means your jumps are higher and you can stay up longer.

I was not making demands on anyone else. I was just holding my own tongue. My choice. This however is collective. While I would shout down someone whose words I do not like within rules of the board, I would not in a million years demand that he would not speak his mind as he sees fit based on my dislike of him. I moderate myself as I see fit and on the forum rules (as it is their board) and I absolutely reject any attempt to infringe on my expression from the outside.

You were thinking of others when posting. That's what's being asked for here. Consideration of others, not a specifically mandated set of edicts. If you get no feedback on what you say, how do you learn?
