I didn't play it, but I was dating someone who did. Since we were living together and gaming with dual laptops on the couch I got to see a lot of the game

Yeah. Unless I'm badly misremembering, they had "meet the companions" type stuff on their website for her along with the others. I was looking forward to having her as my tank and then... *poof!* Gone.

well planescape torment happen in the world..if ya recall Haerdlis ? He take you to a planar world in his personal quest . Well Planescape Torment happen in that world . So its amazing.....its where the Gods reside and chaos and evil and greater good..and its filled with Lore..till ya die.....

Still, I have to say, it felt kinda funny to me in Origins when I met Lanaya.

 

I mean, I played through Mass Effect a lot just before that, so of course I knew Ashley like the back of my hand...

Then I meet Lanaya, voiced by the exact same person, who happens to recite Elven poetry to me.

I laughed. Ash, the poetry-loving badass girl you definitely want by your side is voiced by the same VA as Lanaya, the Elven Mage, a First, one of whose major lines is... you guessed it, poetry!
