Guys, is stale water bad for you? Because I've just drunk a bottle of it.

I think so? I think if you're not sure if something is drinkable you should boil it

Well, if we're talking about text-based communication like here, the internet gives us the opportunity to edit what we say before anyone knows we've said it, so if you're careful, you can avoid saying silly things on the spur of the moment. On the other hand, there's no tone and body language, and you need to take that into consideration, especially when making jokes, which is easy to screw up.

Or, alternatively, it could be the fact people on the internet don't make me angry one bit.

There's not even the thoughts!

It lives! I can see things on the screen and read people's words and type and stuff! :wizard:

I played Guild Wars 2 for a while, and the story is... not there. And the lore doesn't do anything for me. But I did enjoy the fact unlike many MMOs, the game doesn't force you to group with strangers unless you're up for it. And I did spend some time in WvW. I enjoyed working together with other people to try and get all our defenses ready for when players try to take castles. Elementalist is so versatile, so you can run around supporting other people, or hang with other eles using your focus skill to deflect trebuchet missiles.. different things.

But I kind of need story, so I haven't played in a while. There's a woman in the office who's really excited about the expansion.

In another of my intermittent booze-related posts, I can report that this Belgian-style French beer that I bought while visiting my Auntie and Uncle in Liile last summer is bloody nice.

It can be if it was left opened for a bit. Nasty germs can get into it.

The water I drink from the pitcher on my living room table stays there for several days. It's an open pitcher. Unless you keep your water in a pigsty, it's going to be fine.

Also, bottled water water in any western country....

I like that your alcohol pictures are huge so I can really see the foam on the side of the glass.

All I have in the house is scotch

Bah! You drink your water in an open pitcher if you feel like it. I'll drink mine from a filtered one kept in the fridge.

Especially after the deer have peed in it and someone has tossed their old sock, from a campsite upriver, into it.

Have to say that I'm with RoamingMachine with regard to bottled water. It's essential in some places if you want to drink safely but in most of Europe it's a waste of both resources and money.
