Bottled water is a con. It's just tap water with better marketing.

And bubbles. Lots of bubbles. I can add bubbles into tap water if I feel like it.

Besides... Bubbles. Bah.

All this talk of bottled water coming from a tap reminds me of this show:

The titular character lives in a town called Tapwater Springs. :D

Prove it.

You can prove that about as much as you can prove I didn't visit the toilet today.

Volvic spring water has been tapped out of Auvergne Regional Park in France since 1922.

Seriously, where bottled water comes from is the least interesting part of it. From a spring or a tap, it's still a massively inefficient distribution method.

I don't even know why we are arguing this. I prefer bottled, you guys don't.

Because your preferred version of water is a wasteful means of consumption both in terms of natural resources and your bank balance. It's your choice, but it's not a choice without consequence.

*sigh* I'm done talking about this. It's just going to cause an argument about who's the most economically efficient. I don't want to be involved in that.

But when arguments about how other people live start, it just gets messy and horrible.

It's just a discussion. I'm sure that none of us could say that we were beyond reproach in terms of our environmental impact, but on this particular issue I agree that there's little more to say.

I'm playing with Dark Souls, and sometimes taking a break to check the forums.

Yeah it's kind of strange how that works. I can't even deal with more extreme videogame violence, or an environment that's too close to horror or scary movie stuff. Tomb Raider was fantastic, but I couldn't finish it.

On the other hand, I'll watch movies with nice swordfighting or martial arts and love the movement, the gracefulness of it all... but I'm not really seeing blood there. Sword falls, sound effect, actor falls bloodlessly, and it doesn't affect me that way.

But an actual fight... different.

I was thinking 30s

It is strange, isn't it how different media affect you? I can hide under the blankets in a scary movie and be mostly okay, because I can't see it.

But the second someone is being hurt/tortured and i can see it, I have to leave the room.

I mean, I even sobbed the entire way through Rise of the Planet of the Apes because I found the inhumane treatment so upsetting.

And yay! You win the prize for Inkeri's age. :)

I cannot watch anything to do with the slave trade. Django Unchained, 12 Years a Slave, Amistad, etcetera. Sure, they are great movies, I'm not denying that but I just get really uncomfortable seeing it.
