that movie was a shot to every disney movie XD
You never saw Enchanted? Because the final scene when she goes to Andalasia her phone rings and she says "Wow, really good cell reception here!" And then tosses her phone over her shoulder.
I was being brilliant, Uncle, geeze.

Sorry. I'm almost 40 and have no kids. It's been a while since live action Disney movies were high on my "must watch" list...

See, and I am still being told that going without kids is next to impossible.
I think that some movies (particularly Dreamworks movies) are worth it even for the older. Madagascar and spin offs are awesome just for the presence of Penguin Commandos, Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private.
Oh, yeah, by "older" I mean anyone over fifteen-ish, so by the definition of "older" I use, I count among the "older" folk.

Oh eff that. I don't need kids to authenticate my love for kids movies
I've no patience for the Madagascar films though; they bloody drive me up the wall.

Good for you. Never give up on the things you love just to bow to society's norms about "acting your age." The princess ones were never my thing though. I was all about Jungle Book...
I like most Pixar movies, but that's not quite the same thing...

I have not watched a kids movie in theaters or at home for ages. But, I still watch cartoons from the 80's and choice few from the 90's as well.

I kind of assumed that I'd have kids, but my wife doesn't want them, and it's her body, so we've not had any. Doesn't bother me.

I really liked The Incredibles, not sure I've seen anything Disney since that.
I should probably see Wreck It Ralph because game culture or something.
But.. Penguin Commandos!
Weren't cool in Batman Returns, still aren't cool now.

Oh my god, it's so good. It's witty and clever in a way that kids movies usually aren't. Plus references that you will actually get, unlike the rest of the kids in the theatre!

Never understood why there is so much pressure on married couples to have kids. I can see why there was back in medieval times and the wild west. But, things have changed so much that having kids shouldn't be outright expected by so many. Though I can't have kids and because of what happened in me in the past, I really don't want too. So my perspective on the issue might be different than most.

Anyone who'd try to force you into having kids against your will isn't a man that you'd want to stay with, I'd say, although I'm aware that it's not always so easy to get yourself out of a relationship with a control-freak... ![]()

I would have thought you probably shouldn't marry someone who isn't at least that understanding. Unless they have a truly sparkling wit or something I guess.

I think I've actually seen all the latest (except for Wreck-It-Ralph which I saw on DVD) in theatre, including the re-release of Beauty and the BEast to 3d which was incredible.
The only one I really didn't like was The Princess and the Frog because it is plain creepy!

I thought I would too when I was younger. Might have had I made different decisions. My girlfriend, whom I will have been with nine years this spring, does not want them. I am 46 and the thought of being in my old age and having to keep up with some youngster whose hell-on-wheels is not particularly an attractive thought. Plus I like my toys. I don't want to share them. ![]()

Well... Beside anything else, there are 7 billion of us on the planet. It's not like we have a shortage of kids right now. I've no issue with people who want kids, but I'm not sure why they should be expected by/of anyone.
