Just have to learn how to take a fall. It's actually difficult to break something by iceskating unless you're pulling tricks or land on rocks/concrete. 
 
I mean you'll be bruised for sure, but the ice pretty tensile. You tend to sort of bounce back up off it.

The more I play the Dragon age games, the more I wish they had more weapon types. Polearms such as Glavies and Halberds would be welcome editions. So would flails. 

 

I do not disagree. More weapon types would be a welcome addition. And the reinvention of standart crossbows in Thedas.

 

Hay, I'm not asking for realism. Just some more variety. lol Though you if you have not played it, you owe it to yourself to play Chivalry. Imagine the fast paced action of a game like Quake III mixed with the mechanics of a game like Bushido Blade.   

 

I played Chivalry about a year back on Free Weekend. Didn't like it too much. May try again, as I got more of an interest in medieval combat lately.

I shun your more proficient way of making skates. Must be stupidly difficult to build. Only way we learn cool new things like how to best fit a firework to them.

By not absorbing the impact through areas where you'll hurt yourself less. 

 

Always try to spread the impact out through your body and fall on your buttocks if possible. If falling forward catch yourself with your forearms.

Cable companies host their shows online. For example: much music hosts Degrassi here.

 

Or go through Netflix, Shomi, etc.

her dad own a ice ring. Snuck in, skated for a bit. She got cheeky and tried to be all ice princess.. came in too hot and ended up landing on my hand breaking 3 of my fingers. I then reset my fingers and said "last time i go skating"... good times

It's not scary if you practicing dropping and falling. 

 

In skating if you haven't fallen at least once in a lesson you're not pushing yourself hard enough. It means you aren't learning new skills.
