I think Merril and Sera catch way to much flack. They are probably the most complex, realistic and relatable characters in the series. Far to many characters in the series are one note characters with a retreads of back stories that have been done over and over again.
I agree...however I instantly enjoyed Merril while any enjoyment of Sera had to be...coaxed out...over time..playing through her story with her...although her banter is f'ing hilarious...

okay quick nerds assemble! so my PS3...i figured out why my Assassin's Creed Liberation isn't working. I believe something maybe wrong with the blu ray. what further confirmed this is when I attempted to watch a blu ray movie. it was trying to load and just kept whirring about which has never happened...I mean the noise was hella loud. so I went to the interwebs and found that some people replaced or cleaned the lens. but some just did a simple system restore. ugh I really don't wanna do that. but if that is a simpler solution, I can do it. I also know how to take apart my PS3 and reassemble it cause the warranty with Sony ain't here. what do you guys think? feel free to visit my pm's so as to avoid the off topic warnings that may come.
I suggest you just try to clean the lense first Kassummmii .
I admit , my experience with console is very old (Stopped at PS1) , but I recall often that was the issue . Just clean it and see how it goes . And yeah I remember that noise lol
Hum......well I dunno how your console look . But I remember our PS1 , it degraded so bad..in the end we had to put it on the Side....for it to work . If ya have no animal or clumsy idiot..ya can make it work that way

But I cant stand merrril...when I did her romance I felt like a pedo.....
She just so naive...make me like I'm using her....and when you can forget that , she is Prideful . (hence why two pride demons came to her).....anyway...so in the end , I take Belaaaaa....anyday and Leliana .

Well like I said....my experience with console is very old . I remember the PS1 the lense was easy to find and you could clean it without dissasembling anything...kinda like cleaning your mouse . If ya have to take apart your console..dont they have a CD cleaner like for PC ?

Ya welcome Kasssuuumiii ! ya could try that..at least it will narrow whats it coming from . In the end.it could be due to that firm sony thingy you mentioned . Maybe you can google it ? and see if anyone getting same issue since the update ?
hmm that shouldnt happen given the age. Maybe it is the update or lensit's a year old actually. a fatboy slim, as I call it. 500GB.
was it pre-owned? Or new.wait it's not a year. I have only had it a year but the super slim 500GB came out in 2012. so 2 and some change technically speaking.

well thats interesting * continues mumbling* if it "new" and relitivly young... why is having a 5yr old's issue... most problematic4.66 was a mandatory update so I doubt I can rollback permanently. what I just noticed also is that DAI is a blu ray disc and loads just fine. I tried my America's collection for Assassin's Creed and Silver Linings Playbook and neither of those would load. it seems...multilayered blu ray discs are the issue. hmm.

I was really disappointed at the fact that Tallis didn't become a full time companion after the Mark of the Assassin and didn't return in DA:I. Having her in a party with Solas would have made for some good banter and I think that she would have been able to soften Solas'es view on the Qunari. On a side note, apparently I have a thing for Elf women. lol I might even romance Merril at this point, since I'm not that far into DA 2.

It's always important to keep in mind that modern manufacturing process for most electronics is engineered to give them a shorter life span than they would have had years ago. I have an eight track player that with no maintenance works like a champ and a "high quality" home stereo that the lens is constantly getting stuck in place that I have had freaking thing is less than a year and a half.
