Why are you going all the way up to York only to come all the way back down?

 

Because York has the York Dungeon and the Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal! And Betty's. 

 

Mostly I want to go to places I didn't visit when I was there last.

I adore Tamara Pierce. Her circle series are one of my favourite stories from my childhood. <3 Garth Nix isn't bad either.
