Wasn't it shot by an all british crew and cast?   Wouldn't they have said something? Wow.

Might have been a budget thing or Kings Cross didn't give them permission to use an exterior shot.

It could be that they were working on this when it was filmed, so it was a building site. Still, it was irksome...

Quite possible, though it seems more likely they wouldn't allow filming within the station rather than outside. The money required must have been astronomical!

i still didn't choose which mission to play. i saved it last night. i kinda want to see Calpernia somewhere other than the multiplayer clones. And Ser Barris seems interesting as well. but really...In Hushed Whispers tugs at my heart. Playing a Cadash though...guess i could go to the Templars because i wanna see the stupid choices they made up close.

tbh honest the only reason to side with the temps is representation of barris imo other than that its same old whitewash of temps And cal being a decent villianess. Go with your gut

its worth it to do at least once.  the mindset my inquisitors had was always, the rebel mages have been too radical, too erratic, and even if I get this group, the rebel mages seem far less cohesive as a group than the templars.  I could end up with only a small percetnage of the rebel mages actually following Fiona to the Inquisition.

 

The templars however, I'm probably going to get over half of the order if I can get them, because of the more rigid hierarchical structure.  And then I can hopefully influence/control them to make them not so 'jackboot'.  That was the thinking.

 

Ser Barris is a great character and really helps put a redeeming personal face on the templars.  Calpernia is very interesting too and you get to do that good temple mission to learn more about Cory.    And you have options in the Calpernia boss fight that I don't think you get with Samson.

That said, IMO, In Your Heart Shall Burn is much harder on the Templar side although Fiona makes up for it by being a pushover.

I thought Calpernia was interesting when I tried that side of the story, but later I kept thinking I didn't really get her motivation. It still doesn't make sense to me.

You mean why a slave of Tevinter would want to help a demonic old magister set up a new Tevinter Imperium right? Yeah that seems a bit fuzzy to me too.

But since she rose to power she feels like she can be an ambassador fro Tevinter and make their  legacy better than ever before. Free the slaves, take over the world, etc.

she wants to free the tevinter slaves?  I guess her motivation seemed quite clear to me. I never had a problem with it. Under Corypheus she would have the power to strike back in vengeance at her former masters and those like them, free the slaves, create a new world order with a God who will actually answer back.  There is a lot of anger, vengeance, and hatred in there.  Corypeus facilitates the power to act out her vengeanc and destory the system that made her and others like her a slave.  Then she gets to rebuild that system.  I'm sure the way Cory sweet talked it it was a pretty damn appealing offer.

 

Remember, she doesn't know everything that the Inquistor knows or we know from lore and DA2.  She only knows what Cory has told her, and he is lying to her.

She was perfectly fine with Restoring the Glory of the Empire, rule of the powerful over the powerless and all that, until the moment when she realized that Coryphigula was going to betray her personally.

 

That seems rather self-absorbed. And I kept waiting to see if there would be something more than that.
