Yep, too bad Sam's case wasn't clear enough..... Liking someone's voice (female/male) doesn't mean you're attracted to this gender. Made me roll my eyes at what Sam said about liking EDI's voice as a hint that she doesn't like dudes.
It was a weak hint, imo.
Yeah, they could have made it a little bit more obvious with Sam.

I suspect it's a gender thing. I've never seen a man talk about how sexy/lovely another man's voice is. I've heard lots of women talk about how sexy/lovely another woman's voice, eyes, face, body, clothing, etc is.
Samantha talking about EDI's voice might come off differently to male gamers. Actually, that reminds me of a song.
I don't know. I think anyone can swoon over Gordon Freeman's voice.

So either Sera makes it obvious that she is a lesbian (which is easy to do) or a male tries to hit on her and she turns him down. Big deal...
My point is, who cares if the males inquisitor can show interest if he is in fact, ya know... interested.
Sera is not going to hook up with a male inquisitor. If he wants to show his interest, so be it, that is not going to detract from her sexuality.
People are so focused on keeping everything in little boxes. It doesn't work like that.
Whatever. Every sexuality and gender will stick to themselves and omg we can't acknowledge anything else exists because that would be the end of the world.
I think that negative attitude toward such idea comes from the fact that lesbian sexuality is generally not treated very seriously in pop-culture (since the end of last year 6th TV show introduced "lesbian sleeping with a man" trope recently), so people wish her characterization wouldn't involve men for a change. Not to mention that every out lesbian I know was a target of unwanted, aggressive 'advances' of men based on the premise of her lesbianism.
Samantha Traynor's case also doesn't speak well for such option. Like mentioned, only male character could hit on lesbian. What's more, she was turned into tease for MaleShep, I think they put more work on those scenes of semi-nudity and shots on her bottom for male character's pleasure than on her same-sex romance. Meanwhile, FemShep treated with full respect Steve's sexuality, it wasn't needed for her to hit on him to find out about it.
So I hope that if there will be option to "try" romance with her for male characters, it will be nothing like in Traynor's case. That it won't be only done for lesbian character, and just for the purpose of teasing men.

really no one has mentioned stinkfist as a song for sera???
I agree with you.
She is a lesbian city elf (no tattoos), she doesn't like orlesian nobles (a result of what happened in "The Masked Empire") and she uses the bow as her main weapon.
If she wasn't Briala in disguise i would say that bioware writers needed to create a more unique character.
And since Briala is pretty well known in at the court of Empress Celene she would need to travel in disguise if she wanted to follow the Inquisitor while
though i do not think she is the same character, it would explain the hastily made hair cut, and that the dead elf was my master
I'm male and have no problem in playing as a female to romance Sera.
i am an asexual male and i am planning on doing that at least once

the guy who plays twyin lannister and the dude who roose bolton make me envious of their amazing voices, i wish i had a voice that powerful yet smooth. i wouldn't mind a james earl jones voice either.

There's some on the OP and some throughout the thread. I just haven't gone through the thread yet to get all of the fanart linked to the OP.
I'm with you about the lack of art skills. ![]()

I love the fact that Sera cares about the people and each and every life is important (well, except for the bad guys). It`s refreshing when someone is against the "greater good" cause and doesn`t use it as an excuse to let innocent people die. She will definitely be my first LI. Fingers crossed she won`t have a bisexual girl phobia, just like real life lesbians ![]()

You can't see it, but I'm tilting my head at the implication that all lesbians are biphobic.
I can appreciate her not wanting to kill anyone unnecessary, but I do hope she doesn't shun any and all notions of the greater good.

I think greater good can be much like swooping sometimes. That`s an excuse that governments like to use ![]()
In relation to your head tilting, I picture this: we are drinking by the bar. I go hey! you go hi! The moment I drop the bi bomb, that`s it! I turn around, your seat is empty and your drink floating in mid air, only to shatter 5 seconds later. Spilling cocktail all over the floor! ![]()

“Doing something for the ‘greater good’ makes her angry, because she thinks that's shorthand for ‘let's hurt people who don't deserve it because it's easier.’ But she's got her own reasons for helping too. Play nice with the vulnerable and you’ve always got friends, and friends are better than power.”

Given that my girlfriend is bisexual, your snide insinuations are less than appreciated. I would not have hitherto considered that the best way to fight biphobia was with homophobia.

Not as seriously as you might have, but for future reference, "all lesbians are X" isn't so different from "all bisexuals are indecisive" or whatever.
