And of course the answer is : ''we didn't. We sold it to you, an adult. If you let your children play it, you are to blame.''

But of course people don't want to hear that.

The Lord of the Rings one was pretty gory indeed. My parents were equally ignorant of the 'cartoons are not all made for kids' rule. They let us watch Akira and Lupin III quite young. We were traumatized. :P

f*ck akira was crazy... loved lupin the 3rd

Right? I hate people sometimes.

Some of the stories are quite funny though.

Apparently we live in a day and age where parents are not responsible for properly raising their children, everyone else is.

well when spanking is banned and parents getting "friendly" with their kids this can happen

Yep LOTR was one and Wizards before that. You saw Lupin III? Yeah that's not for kids. It's on Hulu so I watched it this past summer for the first time. Great film! Tons of fun but definitely an adult fantasy. I didn't regret seeing LOTR or Wizards. I loved them. It probably was not age appropriate but I made it through alright anyway. :P

Cullen: "Tell all Requisition Officers not to bother the Inquisitor when she's setting out. Though surely they're learned by now."

Pretty much. Cullen: "Station Requisition Officer Clone #51 at the Exalted Plains camp."

My mum wouldn't let me watch Star Trek. She said it was for adults and that it was very inappropriate for my age.  :(

What? My father and I watched Alien for the first time when I was 5. Nightmares for weeks but SO worth it. I became obsessed with sci-fi movies and TV shows ever since. We would gather around the TV every weekend for episodes of ST:TNG.

I've shot my Requisition Officer so many times by accident! Whoops.

I like helping her. Until she asks stuff for a survey. I mean wth, can't you people walk 5 meters? There's iron on that rock over there!

That would be very arrogant of me to assume my tastes reflect tastes of all lesbian players. But judging from previous discussions, there are issues most of commenters that are, if I'm not mistaken, lesbians, agree about. Like things mentioned in this post of syllogi (and chain of comments that leads to it), who likes Sera by the way:

http://forum.bioware...9#entry18042186

I cut the rest for brevity.

I'm sorry.  I carelessly copied and pasted "lesbian players" from your first post that I quoted from.  I didn't mean to put you on the spot or attempt to make you speak for an entire group.

I do really want to know how Sera or any future lesbian companion could be developed better (maybe 'differently' is more correct word) to please you?  I lurk on the boards somewhat so I was familiar with the conversation that you referred to.

I know I'm already asking you for your time in writing a response, but if you'll humor me just a little further?  I'd be better able to understand if you explained what you'd like to see and not what you saw and didn't like.  ('Cause a lot of people are good at pointing out Sera's shortcomings and I naturally get defensive on Sera's behalf.  Even though it's sometimes very hard to defend Sera.)

Why what?

Why is it wrong? If it's safe, the baby is healthy and all those involved are OK with it, where is the problem?

Has anyone had a fight right outside of camp? It's laughable when you're blazing away at some Red Templars or whatever and the Inq soldiers are having a laugh just yards away!

That recently happened with those two soldiers standing by a random chest in the world. They're wearing my uniform, doing nothing but guarding a chest I can't even loot, and my team is fighting two bears right next to them.

Soldier #1: Did you hear something? :?

Soldier #2: Just the wind.

It's breaking every law nature has put on us. A child is supposed to be made with one sperm, one egg. That's how it has been since the dawn of time and it's how it will likely be when time ceases. Messing with that is like splicing us with lizards or something. It's just wrong.

Don't get me wrong. The goal is admirable, but there are other ways of doing that without potentially messing up a child.

aha but but what defines "laws of nature". With that logic some of our friends are "lawbreakers"

Poor wording my friend

Don't worry, the nature already does that in some cases.

You know what I mean. To produce a baby, you have one sperm and one egg. Adding another sperm intentionally into the mix is just wrong. I will never understand what scientists are thinking when they come up with this stuff. Do they not see a line that should never be crossed?

It just makes no gosh darn sense and you'd think they could have coded that in. I mean when I am out in an area I'll see enemy encampments attacked by bears etc and they fight. Seems the Inquisition AI could be fixed to allow your troops to join in. It's one of the things about this games that makes me roll my eyes and chuckle when I see it. Fail.

Almost everything that goes on in a hospital is unnatural, from transplants to transfusions. Do you also have a problem with those? And how is using human DNA anything like splicing with lizards? That makes no sense at all. Sorry but you're not convincing me, and judging by the fact that the procedure passed public consultation, it seems that the British public doesn't agree either.

i know what you ment merely proposing a philosphical question... that and busting ya nads.

And science knows no bounds only its practicioners and a "ethics" commitee. Change is coming

Apparently I'm going to be hoarse for the rest of my life. I should accept this fact and just have a glass of birthday vodka.
