How would she know your inquisitor is bisexual unless you try to romance a male character? In that case, it's far more likely to be a matter of being monogamous/faithful than anything else.

It's not homophobia to critique the LGBT communities stance on bisexuals when you yourself are bisexual...And therefor part of that LGBT community (whether some people like it or not.) Bisexual erasure is quite common among gays and lesbians as well as straight people.
That being said, I seriously doubt Sera will care either way, even if we have the option of saying our Inquisitor is bisexual (as opposed to just generally attracted to women), which would actually be nice.

I think it's more that "the greater good" means making sacrifices and those sacrifices are usually forced on the most vulnerable. From Lukas' interview (in the OP):
“Doing something for the ‘greater good’ makes her angry, because she thinks that's shorthand for ‘let's hurt people who don't deserve it because it's easier.’ But she's got her own reasons for helping too. Play nice with the vulnerable and you’ve always got friends, and friends are better than power.”
I got the same impression. Sera isn't going to worry about how doing 'X' may help lots of people down the road but is thinking about who is suffering and dying now and wants to help them.
