*shrugs*
Look Artemis you're a pal and all, I just don't want to think about William Dafoe Loghain having hippy magic sex.
But, once my wardens actually start to make important decisions he complains if they are not to his liking; then, when Riordan proposes to make Loghain a warden, which is a sensible thing to do considering that there are like 3 effing wardens in the whole Ferelden and we have an Archdemon to slay, he throws a tantrum as if he's a 5 yo and threatens to leave the wardens in the middle of a Blight because he doesn't get his way. Riiight.
Alistair is a twit. Which is why I like Drunk Alistair so much actually, after all the build up he finally flips out and quits, and you can turn around and be like 'later then'.
I'll freely admit that most stages of the Tour don't get exciting until near the end, so the peripheral coverage does a lot to make it more interesting. I think that like Cat with her horse riding I love cycling because I enjoyed it as a kid. I loved exploring on my bike, and bike races were the only sport at which I could take on the sporty kids and have a decent chance of winning...I think I'd enjoy the Tour de France more if it didn't have any cycling. It was just a helicopter flying over French roads with commentary and French people lining up to do quirky French things by the side of the road.

Ya try making someone who doesnt care for green vege and salad eat those.....even if ya succeed..ya will get a Boo wich sound as a Moo when they chew
I never saw Buffy - and I wish I were into it, purely because of Tara + Willow - but I have heard about that scene.
I stopped at season 5 . Didnt care for the after....cose of spoiler...lol
Its good ! I recommand it ! i waited a long time for the seasons..man...its soo worth it !

My apologies. It was a playful shrug, not a "LoghainxMorrigan is totally hot"; I mean, it's not like I particularly enjoy the thought either.
Fair enough. As I said, different strokes for different folks: I'd rather have him removed completely from the save files I consider "canonical".

I knew, I was playing along, and taking the opportunity to state that Alistair is a twit, because he is. The post probably should have had more agreement about Alistair being a twit in it.
My insistence on not emoting will one day be my downfall.
Alistair being a twit is why I like to marry him to Anora. She can get on with ruling while he gets on with being a friendly buffoon and public figurehead.
I never actually finished a Cousland playthrough for some reason, so I never had the opportunity to have a royal warden...
Wow, what's with all the Alistair hate?
Maybe I'm too relaxed about things, I don't know...
But what did he do, exactly?

I don't personally hate him. I just don't think he's king material on his own. Every character in DAO has strengths and failings, and it's up to you to decide which are more important. There's no "right answer".

Well, admittably, hate is a strong word, but not many seem to like him. If I roll a non-romance playthrough, he's gonna be something akin to a BFF for my Warden.
Yes, I rolled two playthroughs of Origins in my life, I admit it. Yes, both were Alistair romance. I might try Dalish Elf/Lels later on. Might.

I don't hate him, I think he has an unrealistic notion of what the Wardens are, and I think he would make a poor leader (unless married). Personally I / Warden would upset him far too easily, which though I could metagame around I reasoned Kallian would simply run out of patience.
He's a fool, for most people he's probably a likeable fool.

I'm not overly fond of Alistair myself. He dumps all responsibility on the player's shoulders when things go bad, then if we make decisions he doesn't like he complains about it. It's like 'tough luck, dude. You refused to assume leadership, now deal with it.'
I don't know why people talk about a mythical Buffy season six. They stopped making the show after five seasons which is good because a sixth season probably would have been just horrible...
I sent Alistair to his untimely demise over the weekend.

But Cat whiny hero-worshipping manchildren are suppose to be universally liked by all and his aloofness is suppose to be endearing.

Alistair isn't aloof... Morrigan is though. And Sten.
Alistair is a goofball. The only cheese-loving goofball I like is Sheogorath. Can you imagine if they met? Wait...
