[Grieving Natashina]

More fun with the Elder Tree, Part 2!  I'm not going to write it with Vivienne's accent, so use your imagination.  

 

 

 

Sera: A lovely young lass for me to see.  What brings you here to the Poet Tree?

 

Vivi: I do not think you wish to do this.

 

Sera: Nonsense, with my little rhymes I love to play.  Come, join me on this fine and lovely day!

 

Vivi: Very well then, since you insist my dear.

 

Sera: <squee!>

 

Vivi: I know this game of rhymes you seek.  'Tis not a game meant for the faint and for the weak.

 

Sera: Show me what you can do.  Do you have more wit than is in a shoe?

 

Vivi: Let us begin.  

 

Vivi: I see a young elf so full of humor and sass.  I would be too, if I had no chest and a flat ass.

 

Sera: Wait, what...

 

Vivi: Your hair is like brittle straw, though I am sure men in the dark do not see that fatal flaw.

 

Sera: Hey, hold on now...

 

Vivi: Now now dear, it is only for a laugh.  I can smell you from here, so please do take a bath.

 

Sera: WHAT?!?

 

Vivi: What is the matter with this little game?  I told you I would win one and the same.

 

Sera: Wait, but I have...but I didn't...just one second here...hey!

 

Cass: <doubled over with laughter>

 

Varric: Ah, Madame, you never cease to amaze me.  Shall we be off, everyone?

 

Vivi: Oui.  Little Sera, it was much fun.  We should do this again sometime, no?

 

Sera: <mumbles something not nice about Vivi's mother>

 

Vivi: What was that, dear?

 

Sera: Nothing.

 

I'm working on one for Iron Bull.  Once I get some more information about Solas, I'll have one for him too.

 

And now, some coffee and back to Diablo 3.

I wasn't familiar with that film, but just checked out the trailer on youtube.

 

I can see some similarities in appearance. The film character looks a bit more serious than my impression of Sera though. Or at least she does in the trailer.

For someone like Vivienne?  I do.  It's easier to fluster someone like Cassandra, who always struck me as rather uptight.  I don't think Sera would be ready for the tongue lashing that Vivienne would have in store for her.  I always pictured Vivi as a foil to Sera: Someone that is calm, cool and collected no matter what.  Sera, on the other hand, seems excitable, easily driven to passion and has her mouth run ahead of her brain.  That's not a bad thing, since I think a little frantic energy would do the party some good.

 

Besides, give me a week or two and I'll have Sera's comeback.  She was unprepared once, it isn't going to happen again.

Again, that is the point of the exercise because Vivienne appears to be an enemy. Whether she can avoid being one is an open question.

I know your stance, but i thought you were still taking about the first post I quoted (about the reversed roles). I misunderstood your point.

I believe she was seen in background footage during one of the early trailers/video diaries, along with the Grey Warden.
