Hm. Wouldn't saying that necessitate knowing that none of the Bioware representatives or other people in the room were bisexual?
I'm not sure what you're asking.
Someone has claimed BioWare is biphobic. A straight woman writes an article defending them. She simultaneously does not explain the criticism, does not put any voice but hers into the article, and then specifically talks about how it's better to listen to queer groups than make it all about yourself.
Whether or not anyone at BioWare is bisexual is immaterial to my thought on this article.
I could be wrong on that, but how would you have preferred the article handle things?
1. If a favored developer is criticized for their handling of a minority issue, take the time to understand the criticism and fairly represent it.
2. Try to include the actual thoughts of bisexual people when writing an article about biphobia.
3. Don't make it all about you and your experiences.
I'm not saying she's wrong; I think BioWare is very good in its handling of queer sexualities. But the article is a blog post, not good journalism or a solid essay.
