That is so cool! I used to be a classical singer. So used to getting strep and having to sing a concert. I'm just being a big baby about it
I like classical and opera singing. Especially given their importance when it comes to power metal and power metal vocals. Death Metal singing is an odd one though. It can put a lot of wear and tear on your vocal cords and throat in general if not done correctly. You "sing" from your diaphragm and air pressure on the throat plays a huge role. You can get the same sound by singing from the throat, but people that do that tend to sound like five pack a day smokers in no time when they talk and end up having to deal with constant vocal cord and throat inflammation for long periods of time, some times for the rest of their life.
