There are loads of times where if you have her with you you can get an approval boost by helping "little people". Also doing all the Red Jenny war table missions gains approval. Have her in the party and explore. You get approval when you come across Red Jenny caches...

Yeah doing all the quests (five?) alluded to by Corporal Vale with her in the party, telling the cult leader in SE Hinterlands to help the refugees, conscripting mages... those are a good start.

But there's one Red Jenny mission you have to do a certain way. I think it's Red Jenny says “Drop and Grab”. If you use Leliana for that one, she helps the nobles instead of the servants and Sera disapproves.

All I know is I get to a certain point in the game and I stop seeing Sera approval messages, I guess because she's totally into my way of running things and can't get any better.

Yeah that's what he meant my maxing out approval, I think.

Oh and of course if you do her personal quest which is part of the Red Jenny war table mission tree, use the nobility perk option to conscript the noble dude, and then basically be nice to her, you get loads of approval there. Also do everything in her prank quest.

Wait, that can happen? Doesn't that sort of rob you of important feedback and kind of mess up the less gamey not showing approval thing?

I guess not reaching this point means I'm difficult or something.

There's a point where you stop getting more approval and hence stop seeing messages, but it doesn't lock. If you do something to lose approval you can then gain it again. It's essentially the same numbers-based gamey system as before. You just don't see the meter.

There will never be a playthrough in which I do not say "Just kill him Sera".

I say it every. Single. Time.

There were things I'm pretty sure I should have gotten approval for and didn't, so I just assumed it was because I was already maxed out. Of course it could be a bug, who knows :P  But I always already on the third card and things were great between us, so I would not question

Sure but the approval notifications are still important feedback. They make for the fact that no matter how good BioWare gets at facial animations they probably can't simulate knowing someone for a year. Even if you reached the maths dead end that Sera approves of what you're saying is part of the whole narrative illusion.

I'm always picking up disapproval somewhere.

Can I just say **** UPS. I mean really **** them. Package was out for delivery at 6am yesterday and according to the site, it should have been here before 3:00pm. Only to have it show up last night around 6:30. Oh and because the driver didn't  want to wait three min for me to go from my apartment to the lobby, they left and now I have to sit here and continue to wait, probably all day for them to show up. Again **** UPS.

I can't endorse beating an unarmed man to death without trial, however much of an arsehole he may be. Well my first two characters couldn't, anyway.

I think only Josephine actually helps out in Drop and Grab, both Leliana and Cullen don't actually do the mission the way Sera wants it done.

The joy of mail delivery. Last year I ordered a rare soul record I've always wanted, 45, so I track on the US Postal Service. Package arrives from the mid-west to my state NJ-oh joy I should get that soon then as it's at a center only 45 mins from my house- Next day it's on a truck heading to New Hampshire. New Hampshire? Then from there it comes back down two days later only for it to be raining so the mailwoman decides that rather than walk up one flight of stairs and leave it at my door as they usually do, she'll ram it into the small mailbox in the parking lot we have, shattering the record into pieces ("fragile" was of little use).

You take your chances I guess when you order things online.

You should have called up an complained. That is effectively the same as a mailman opening your mail. If it said fragile on the front, then the utmost care should have been taken with it. It wasn't and you have lost out because of it.

I AM THE LAW

I actually like that movie.

You might argue that the 1995 movie starring Sylvester Stallone is better but I have to disagree. I didn't enjoy watching it and also, Judge Dredd never takes off his helmet in the comics. You don't make a Judge Dredd movie and not have him wearing his helmet.

Same here. The guy sets you up in an ambush and his thugs try and kill you. When I get that scene it's usually been later in the game and Sera is, by that time a valued partner, so it's like "You try to kill my friend, me, those other people I am friends with? You're going down mister!"

Crestwood != Mega-City One, and Sera learned a lesson about resolving situations to your advantage in a way that doesn't involve violence. :P

Simply beating him to death is far to easy. Let him go, thinking he is safe. Work with Leliana and Josephine to find his base of power and connections, Once you have thoroughly destroyed his base of power took out his connections, you let him know you did it and tell him that one day you will come for him. Than a couple of years later, you and Sera show up on his doorstep.

I had taken insurance out on the package from the seller so I snapped a photo of it and he had a second copy he sent out. I also complained so that when It came the next time it was a deal where I had to sign for it which was fine because that made her walk up the flight to actually deliver it in person. I will say I've ordered hundreds of records online that this was the first mail delivery issue. Usually it's some European seller who mysteriously disappears after purchase and whom Ebay cannot seem to find.

He is also the only comic character that has aged in real time through out his comics. Dredd  is in his mid 70's at the moment.

Source material, so far as I can tell, was fairly accurate. Ma-Ma isn't actually a character in the comics though so there is only so much accuracy you can get from adding a completely new character into an established universe.

Yes. A day in the real world is a day that goes by in the comics from what I gather.

Is this an option you can actually get as opposed to the "Goodfellas" scenario?

Can't say. I just let Sera take him out.
