She doesn't sound much like most Germans who speak English. For instance, she sounds nothing like me (although my accent is kinda atypical as well). I've described it before as a bizarre mixture, like a Brandenburger who went to Poxbridge, but now I'm not sure that that's right. Anyway, Miranda Raison said it was a mishmash of different stuff, and it's not like Nevarra actually is Germany.

It's as Sarduakar said, Cass has a vaguely Eastern European accent that Miranda Raison made up herself. It's not supposed to be from anywhere, exactly.

Yeah, there aren't a whole lot of necropoleis back home.

Some of the names are kinda German-ish (like Caspar), but most are ambiguous or decidedly not German. Viuus, for instance, is not a German name.

Also Rivain. i need to see there. Hell Izzy is from there and if that didn't peak my curiosity enough, the annulment of the Circle of Dairsmund sure does. The way i read it, the mages rebelled with cause and were winning before that annulment came through.
