Mabari? I don't think I've even seen them spawn in the Emerald Graves.

No, it wasn't Mabari, I just said dingos because I couldn't remember what animals they were. Four legs... I remember that.

My brain thinks memory is optional.

I feel that I ought to make a Qunari at some point, but I just don't want to. I feel no affinity with them at all...

I'm the same. Just.. no connection. I don't want to. The other three at least I can sort of feel my way into RP or something.

Options are good :)

Yeah.

So, I'm from a country whose leader and people once went to war with the civilized world because their ideology claimed they were the Herrenrasse, the master race. They massacred millions of people. I am extremely uncomfortable about references to it, especially now that fringe loonies are trying to resurrect the idea. Qunari women - being able to play my real height - are something that I'd prefer not to be stained with the rhetoric of the freaking Holocaust, even as a joke.

oooh I wish I could get makeup to look good on Adaars but I'm so bad at getting it to work with those gray skin tones

I wasn't thinking, sorry Eirene.

Colour is my ambrosia. I could spend all day in the CC playing with makeup colours.

Oh god, I'm an idiot. It gets thrown about so often online regarding PCs that it didn't even occur to me.

Sorry Eirene.

Oooh. I didn't know that. I see it all the time online with the "the peasants" and "pc master race". I didn't think it was offensive.

It's okay. I mean...I don't want to be a wet blanket or anything, but it really does squick me out, and I appreciate that you guys didn't really know. :)

Then I apologize. It was not my intention to offend.

Oh I also used to watch the Disney movies that turned into cartoon series. I remember watching The Little Mermaid series and the Aladdin adventures. They were sooo good!

I can't remember. It feels kind of strange seeing people list all these cartoons they watched, and I can't hardly remember.

I guess that's okay.

Wow, they're coming out with a movie version of a Chinese TV show I watched with a friend, so I sent her email about it. How they're going to fit that whole story into one movie should be huh.

Remakes.

...Remakes are weird.

I still don't know how I feel about Emma Watson playing Belle in the new Beauty & The Beast...

...I would if I didn't revere the original animated film.

I'm sure Emma can pull off the role, but I worry about the director.

Do you know what I find weird about modern TV... US network TV specifically? They appear to have done away with theme tunes. The stuff from HBO and Showtime and the like still has them, but stuff from ABC and what have you... You just get a 5 second title, and that's it. I miss theme tunes...

(Side Note. I wonder how many people named their Hawkes Stringfellow?)

Not a big fan of remakes. Simply because they seem to be remaking movies and shows that do not need a remake in the first place. Though some remakes eclipse the original. John Carpenter's The Thing is a great example of this.

I truly think it's because of people bingewatching shows on netflix now.

People get exhausted of hearing the same tune over and over in a day, so to keep the audience invested and not annoyed they've cut it to a title?

I can't think of many remakes I liked... But I really liked the newest Carrie.
