Don't do it right of the bat, but It really depends on her personality and how well you know her. I have a lesbian friend that I flirt with all the time and she flirts with me as well. People commonly mistake us for a couple at this point. But, to us it's simply fun to hit on one another.

I'm inclined to think there's nothing wrong with being attracted to someone so long as one isn't a jerk or threatening about it. Sera is fictional and not present so I'm not sure that applies.

 

However, if we go with your logic, Sera has free will which should be respected. Shouldn't you also not make the gestures at a woman who is attracted to men? Given that she may still not find you attractive?

 

There's also the player character thing, which is a bit weird at the best of times.

I'm not saying I'm not attracted to her. I think she is very attractive. All I meant was that it would feel disrespectful. If I started flirting with my friends, who are lesbians, even after they've made it known they aren't into men, I would feel like I am being disrespectful.

My second point was that any given character regardless of sexuality could be potentially not interested in you and potentially offended by your behvaiour (if hypothetically they knew about it) - so if you're going to look at it that way, shouldn't you apply that logic to everyone not just lesbians?

 

There's also the thing of if you play the Sera romance then she is romancing your character, who is sort of you and sort of not.
