I can hug my family members and allow my mother and grandmother to kiss me on the cheek, but I simply tolerate it. Even if the person means well, something as simple as hand shake or a pat on the back makes me jumpy. I just got really good a hiding it. Because people seem to take offense when I refuse to shake hands.

So today in the Hissing (*Sera sniggers*) Wastes I had Varric call Sera by her nickname, and Sera made Cassandra laugh!

If they use some material, they can. I don't remember what that material is called though.

Everyone can wear any kind of armour if the right materials are used in the main slot (race restrictions still apply though): silverite to wear heavy armour as a non fighter, dales loden wool to wear light armour as a non mage and snowfleur skin to wear medium armour as a non rogue, IIRC.

Sneufleur skin or Silverite.

Snowfleur Skin medium armour and Silverite heavy armour.

The latter makes you tankier, the former can indirectly buff crit chance.

my first play through my elf rogue didn't like Sera to much. on account of Sera being sort of strange and very un-elfy.

 

my human mage (while romancing Blackwall) is very close to Sera. They played some pranks and even sat on the roof to talk about cookies. What is strange now is I have flirted with her but more like friendly stuff. no "start romance with Sera" type dialog. I have the option to ask her to join me on the roof but the screen goes into a 5 min loading and then I re-appear in her room with her but everything is frozen...

 

is that due to the fact that option is only for those romancing her?

Don't know why it is freezing on you but in my first play through, as a male, I also got the rooftop scenes.
