i have always wanted to see wicked and rent lol. I cried when i saw the original sweeney todd

Yeah its called "the wolf among us" its wriiten by the creator so it still has the "fables" feel with a few darker themes. aside from minor nudity, violence, andsuggestive themes i think you'll like it. And its canon. Its probabl. My fave game in my collection. The story evolves based on choices

It's made by Telltale Games, the same ones who made The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2. They also have a game based on Game of Thrones.

 

It's a bit like old adventure games with item puzzles, dialogue clues, etc. I enjoyed it immensely.

It's a telltale game. There are 5 episodes to it, each lasting a few decent hours. Quite fun but I got bored fairly quickly. And I bought the season pass as well. I can download all the episodes right now but I just can't be bothered... lost interest.

I enjoyed the first season of The Walking Dead but not so much the second. I've started Game of Thrones (Come to think of it, I might not have finished the first episode) and I got to the third episode of The Wolf Among Us and even though it's interesting seeing all of those fairytale characters interact, it just doesn't grab me. Maybe I will go back one day and play them all at some point but I doubt it.

 

The same can be said for Child of Light. RoamingMachine recommend it to me, I bought it, I played it, as soon as I got the ability to fly, I lost interest.

Notice how in old games or D&D based games , where there were more deity to worship (Ya know like in BG2 alone , ya had Helm , Tyr , Talos ) yet religion played a minor role as in only tied for role play (and yeah unlike Nwn2 where it mean something and it sucked) . And Magic was tied to intellectual and old wizard who had tower and Labs and Golems and barely sanctioned . 

 

Then come DA serie , and Magic is tied to religion and religion has one deity and magic is forbidden and everyone is pissed off for something or another , and nowhere ya get any intellectuel or smarty or wise peoples at all . It just zealot vs freedom fighter and betting who gonna win . 

 

I mean even the elf and the dwarf went from 'elf have pure magic' to 'dweller and murderer of Shemlin and living a Lie' . Dwarf went from 'great Stone Maker and beer drinker ' to...'Politic and carta' ...

I never clicked with DA world and Lore...the heavy religion thing..just Muh . Yet in BG2..............heck I wanted to know everything , and everyone backstory and why they did this and That . read everything about the Queen of the elf..and her 'legendary Beauty' . remember that Guy building a statue of her in BG1 ? LOL

D&D lore is so vast i miss it... and i miss BG i demand a 3rd or at least another game set in the verse

Possibly because it doesn't feel as alien as an entire pantheon of gods. The fact that some of them are evil and openly worshiped (like Talos) makes for an interesting question: how do they get away with that?
