Being 'annoying' seems like the lesser evil to me.
Perspective and all that. Personally, I find them both a bit aggravating but I keep them around because then they bother each other instead of me. ![]()

he's the stray i found remember one of a kindOh wow. That is an awesome dog. Tell me where you got him so I can go and get all the other dogs!
Engineer always confused me a bit lorewise. I'm not sure what their actual skill set is that isn't just equipment anyone can use.
Yeah, that was super awesome.
Arianne ended up being Honey Tongue. Probably the best nickname by far...
Occasionally someone will offer up the noble killing but that's easily countered by what Blackwall has done or what Leliana might do depending on how your game plays out.
Why bring Leliana or Blackwall into it? Sera kills/can kill two people who have both had their henchmen attempt to kill you. Vivienne is entirely willing to kill someone who did no more than insult you at a party. Yes, she leaves the choice up to you, but she also clearly engineered the whole situation, and she isn't bothered by it in the slightest either way. I'm not sure how Sera is worse, really.

I don't think she is and that was my point. I've seen the noble incident used to attack her character and my point was she's not the only person on the team who does things/performs actions or has incidents in their past that could be used or seen as a blackmark against them.
hax
Do you have to do something special to get Honey Tongue or is it in the normal rotation?
I think you only get that nickname after the 'freak out' scene and you have to pick 'love is the best' option. Then she starts calling you Honey Tongue.

That scene was adorable. Pretty close to the Cass/books one in sweetness. "Aw Sera you really care about me?! C'mere!" ![]()

Oh, I'm sure she gets real close to the Quizzy after that scene. Drunk on alcohol, anger adrenaline and love? Oh yeah, her motor be revving. ![]()

Sure. I think we're basically agreeing here, but the preceding conversation was specifically about the whole "who is worse out of Vivienne and Sera?" question. From my own personal point of view, even though I disapprove of Sera's violent actions, I see Vivienne's cold political machinations as equally bad if not worse.

I was kinda agreeing with you when I implied that Vivienne's arguably worse because she comes from power and influence. Sera really comes from nothing. She does not have the influence or clout Viv does. ![]()

YEP!
This ties in with what we were just discussing in the thread. I think a lot of Sera detractors bail on her early. But this scene does show Sera can have very deep feelings for people and she does have a vulnerable side.
Besides she gives you that great Tigger pounce at the end!

To be fair to Viv: she didn't have that power and influence out of the gate. She worked for it. Ok she had magic, but that's more of a handicap than a bonus in some cases.

True, true. However she seems to have forgotten that other mages did not enjoy the advantages she did or live as well as she did. If she'd been in Kirkwall's circle for instance...
There actually aren't that many times when I disagree with Sera. Usually when she says or does something, I'm pretty much "yeah I'm with you there."
I do disagree with messing with stuff in the kitchen because they're just trying to get things done and people on the bottom (as Sera would say) who could get in trouble, and that's kind of punching down since she's in my inner circle and they're not.
But the Verchiel noble guy? Can Dorian bring him back to life so Sera can kill him again?
she'd probably help with merideth's maddness and allow her annulmentTrue, true. However she seems to have forgotten that other mages did not enjoy the advantages she did or live as well as she did. If she'd been in Kirkwall's circle for instance...
Well, it's how many years after ME3 came out? Holy moly, I can't imagine putting out 3 grand on a single series! You are crazy, my dear.
Three grand's not that bad....
I mean, I think ArmA tops that, no problem. I think that one's heading well over four, with just the two latest installments.
Also, you're thinking three grand in Canadian dollars, most likely. I'm thinking three grand in Czech Koruna. According to Česká Národní Banka, a single CAD is nearly 20 CZK.
So, for example, I bought Inquisition for a thousand, already.
Wow, and I'm just getting into the series now. Late Dazzle is late to the party.
Not much later than me. Remember, I got ME in 2013 and DA in 2014. Both around March-April-ish.

Haaaax.
Also, as Cat has said, it's in the confession scene. The one where she suddenly lets a lot of "love" loose?

Oh you almost gave me a heart attack, love!
I was thinking 3 Grand CAD, and I was like "I could travel to Britain and back on that!"

As you know, while I disagree that letting her kill him is the right course of action, I do agree that she has plenty of justification for doing so. Vivienne, on the other hand, clearly stage-managed the whole scene at her party. That's cold-hearted calculated planning, using a man's life as nothing more than a prop to make her entrance impressive. *shudder*
I should probably find a way to cheer up today.

You think that was a set-up on Viv's part?

Yeah. If my math is right, in order to pay just as much as me, you'd have to pay about 120 CAD or thereabouts.
I would friggin' STRANGLE MYSELF if I did that. I mean, you can get AN ASSAULT RIFLE for that.
An actual, military-grade assault rifle.
I should probably find a way to cheer up today.
Maybe the thread can help. ![]()
