Edit: Also that's an... Interesting cover version.

Los Ovnis, like a lot of Mexican and Latin American bands of the period, covered the best of the British invasion tunes and often making them tougher or altering the lyrics enough to sort of make them their own. There's a lot of great Spanish/Latin American rocknroll from the 60's and I was collecting comps and records for a time. That one is a particular favorite of mine.

For those wondering about the cover it was of Them's (Van Morrison) "Baby, Please Don't Go." Los Ovnis turned into a song about aliens.

Which it should be noted was itself a version of a blues standard, although they're clearly copying Them's interpretation. Across the Atlantic and back...

That film was a weird sort of snuff film really. Remember seeing that on my day off (not religious at all) and just being sort of weirded out by all the parents there with their small children inhaling large boxes of popcorn while some guy is basically tortured on screen. Mel Gibson is a weirdo anyway.

We Were Soldiers is one of the only movies I can stand him in. Knowing how horrible a person he actually is, I can't really stand his movies, despite some of them being classics like Braveheart. Also, Apocolypto which was directed by him is a must watch. It really is a masterpiece.

Think I have heard of that but I haven't seen it. Sounds kind of terrible from the title anyway.

Sorryyyyy. I just can't deal with DA:I anymore. Too many issues with crashes have made it frustrating and I'm plain burned out. Need a new game.

There is some cool stuff on here both sci/fi and not! Noticed they have "The Hitch-hiker" on here. The 1953 version Ida Lupino did which was later remade with Rutger Hauer (1953 version is vastly superior). I've been wanting to re-watch that one so thanks Alexia!

i've been randomly playing ME2. Use to have Chambers "Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal" as my text tone.

I thought i would go back to DAI but I haven't. I may actually be burned out on it. But i at least owe Lysindra the chance to get to the end too.
