Well you do seem to like your simulations. Not my thing at all.

Yeah, I quite like them, but still...

A good story is a good story. And I'm a sucker for good stories.

Besides, ArmA's the only thing I could call a sim I still play. Kind of dropped out of the flight sim scene completely...

And it offers loads of good, even if smaller, stories every now and then.

At the end of the day, I'll just play anything that interests me, and that I like.

I actually played very few strategy games, but Company of Heroes (which is an RTS) remains among my favorite games of all times. And then, there's X-COM, which is a recent discovery for me, but I do like it.

Just look at my Steam library. There's pretty much most genres contained, and most of the games I actually played and liked.

You can find me easy. Not many people call themselves "Inquisitor Serza", have Garrus for avatar AND quote Tali in their profile. Well, maybe there's more that do these things, but I think I'm pretty unique in the combination.

Also, before I forget - happy birthday, Alex!

I didn't mean to imply any criticism for your ArmA love. It's just not my thing. Like what you like and be happy, that's my motto. :)

Bwah, I didn't even detect any criticism, whether it was there or not... ;)

Talking...?

But is there really ever any need? Most of this thread is needless waffle, but that doesn't necessarily make it uninteresting.

Fox just heard it's Alexia's birthday.

Fox is like "Well happy birthday, hugs and get well wishes and a tasty small animal for dinner, if you're into that sort of thing" :D

Happy birthday Lex.

Talking about a topic.

Though BioWare does not really put out enough content for the topics to stay on topic and sustain the community. We're well into silly season now.

The thread can't be that good.

I might be the only person in the whole world who doesn't like whipped cream. I feel so alone.

I don't like strawberries. This has brought me nothing but misery.

Problem with the taste, the texture or both?

I like pretty much all dairy products, except soft and strong cheeses. That's for (cartoon) mice.

Dear God...two of my favorite things: Belgian Waffles and Nutella! *says the man who got a Belgian waffle maker for Christmas* I want to bury my face in that image. *drools*

It doesn't seem to have much taste to me. The texture does kind of bother me. It's like we have this fine chocolate (or whatever) and you've put soft styrofoam on it.

So I scoop it off and eat the good part :)

Most people are used to sugar in whipped cream, but try it with sea salt. It's great with dark hot chocolate.

I'm going to be frank, here, the craze for putting salt in sweet stuff is beginning to annoy me. I love normal caramel, and at least here in Britain it's getting so if you get any high quality stuff with caramel in, it almost has to be salted. Can I not just have some unadulterated sugary goodness occasionally?

*grumps*

(I have no problem with people liking salted caramel, by the way, it just seems to have become the only acceptable form of caramel if you are making a high quality dessert...)

Salt is often an ingredient in baking and in confections. It's just only recently that there has been a trendyness for sea-salted chocolate or caramel. But it's always been there.

I actually don't like caramel. If I see that chocolate has caramel in it, I go for another chocolate.

I am so picky.

When I was feeling down a couple of days ago, a friend took me out to dinner (I had a seriously decadent hamburger), then to a place where they had some fancy chocolate. You know, with rum etc in it. Yum.

Chocolate and caramel ranks up alongside tomato and basil among my favourite combinations, but we're not all built the same in terms of our tastebuds. My wife doesn't like any dairy produce unless it's ice cream, Chantilly cream or a couple of very specific cheeses...
