its the miranda effect or mE as i call it. Somebody said lets make ash "sexy" as miranda but it some how mutated into a knockoff visually but im not complaing due to it not being my opinion

Bah, Miranda did nothing for me. Ash was much better.

I actually did not really trust Miranda, as I recall. Cerberus.

Oooh, what's that?

Best guns in the game.

They get unlocked in the C-SEC requisitions when you get the 1 million credits achievement. For every subsequent playthrough.

The best guns in the game. They have little recoil and are slow to overheat.

stuff is way too op imo for a soldier class

Er... That's the point. I'm trying to make the game easier for Dazzle, here. :)

I don't particularly care about balance in battle. I just want everything dead and to continue on with the story!

well yeah i guess but i often use basic gear for S&G and challenge

Alles Gute! :D

They're the best weapons in the game. Purchased from the Normandy requisitions officer. You don't really have the ability to acquire/use them until midgame.

Ah, well I'll keep an eye out. Thanks!

The first ones I ever read were English translations brought back from the UK by my mother in the 70's. I may still have a few of those books on my comic book shelf at home. They were great. I, unfortunately, do not speak or read in French so I've only read Asterix, Tintin, and lately Blake and Mortimer in the English versions. I wish I could read them in the original languages but I opted to study German and Italian and wasn't very good at either of those anyway. :P

Come on, it's not SO bad.

Just some top-tier weaponry.

That you can actually get early on in your second playthrough if you sell everything - like me.

Yeah, still, Cerberus.

It pays to be vigilant. Of course, when I knew she wouldn't stab me in the back, it was no problem.

its borderline godmode so theres natrually a minor stigma. Imo if the stuff is there use it at your leisure

Perfect Nightmare kit then.

But it's easy enough to get through the game with "common" weapons, so "OP" argument doesn't quite sit with me.

Not if the difference lays in mere time to kill, and not difficulty. I mean, I'm gonna win anyway. Why not win a 50 damage/shot faster?

The only thing I didnt like about Miranda..well make that 2 :

1- her trying to act bossy in the beginning...geez...

2-Her reaction to Jack....

But both turn out well , Miranda come around and become a good Snobby friend lol and she bond with Jack..something none though would be possible .

As for the Priiiiiiiiiiiizeee...he die in Suicide Mission

Asterix was pretty good in French until Rene Goscinny died. The story quality really dropped after that. The same thing happened with 'Spirou et Fantasio' after Franquin passed the torch to Fournier. Then Tom et Janry took it and the series was good again.

The VII-level stuff is fairly easy to get long before the end of the first PT, and you ought to have the cash to equip X-level gear as well on a few characters before the game ends. If you level intelligently, you can be 50 before Ilos, and "Rich" was never a particularly difficult cheevo to get due to ME1's godawful loot/inventory system, even without abusing Dr. Michel's vendor exploit. (Hitting the money cap and the omnigel cap in your first PT is always fun.)

My problem, apart from the game's skeevy inventory, is that there's a single Best Gear available in the games. Once you have Spectre Master Gear equipped on all squadmates, there's no need to change to anything else. (This isn't, FWIW, a complaint about 'god mode', but rather a complaint about lack of variety. If I wanted to complain about god mode, I'd whine about Immunity/Barrier tanking and biotics.) The weapons don't play fundamentally differently as do the weapons in ME2 and ME3: there are just incremental damage/heat improvements, and that's it. It's one of the things that contributed to making combat uninteresting in the game.

I've read a few of the post Goscinny ones and you're right they don't pack the punch the earlier adventures did. Never heard of Franquin so now I will be off to google that and learn more! I've also been curious about Moebius as I keep seeing his stuff on Tumblr and it's really impressive. Just hope the tales would live up to the art!

That's the other thing... I think that after Goscinny died, the English versions actually became superior, as the translators wrote better jokes! :D

I did. It's ok, but I prefer comics with over arching stories, like the Smurfs or Spirou. There are a few Leonard books I really like, like 'Génie en ballade', 'Génie en sous-sol' and 'la guerre des génies'. Those were good.

Gotta love the cat and mouse.
